The VIOFO A119-G V3 car camera is another model from VIOFO from the A119* series with the Sony STARVIS IMX335 5MP sensor used. This matrix in total darkness can raise the ISO to achieve something similar to "night vision" - it can be determined that the camera can see in total darkness. In combination with the NOVATEK 96670 processor, we obtain excellent quality recordings in very high resolution. The camera has the latest version of contacts for the GPS module - V3 [GPS module V2 is part of the offered set]

The Viofo A119-G V3 camera has a GPS module built into the active mounting bracket. The holder is mounted with a 3M sticker to the glass, we slide the camera itself on it and the device is ready to work.

An additional advantage is the ability to power the entire camera directly through the holder with GPS module also power supply with ACC.

Thanks to the GPS module, we have additional information (the ability to turn them off) such as speed and geographical coordinates in the recordings. Using e.g. From the DASHCAMVIEWER program, we can play recordings along with live information superimposed on the map - we have an accurate image on the map with the route traveled.

The VIOFO brand introduced an active parking mode to the A119-G V3 camera. To use this mode, connect the camera permanently to the power supply (using e.g. adapters to plug into the battery available at our auctions). In the A119-G V3, the parking mode has been extended with a buffering function (so far known only from the most expensive car cameras).

Active buffered mode allows for maintenance-free operation and automatic switching to driving mode or parking mode.

How does parking mode caching work?

Parking mode offers a buffering function. This means that when an event is detected in parking mode, the moment before the event itself will also be recorded in the saved video file.

If the recorder records using only the main camera, when detecting movement in parking mode, the video file will cover 15 seconds before the event and 30 seconds after the event. If the movement does not subside, the material will be recorded continuously until the movement subsides.

For even greater performance during parking recordings, the camera itself turns on time-lapse recording mode, which significantly reduces the number of space occupied on the memory card.

The shock sensor with 3-stage sensitivity adjustment protects the recording from being overwritten in the event of a collision or other unexpected traffic situations.

The power supply of the camera is based on supercapacitors, which guarantees stable operation even in extreme temperature differences.
