Prido X8 4K Wi-Fi GPS is a dash cam in the mirror recording high definition 4K videos of 3840x2160 pixels. Included with the driving recorder is a rear camera module with a reversing camera function recording in FullHD 1080P resolution and a GPS module. The camera has a 9,66 inch touch screen, covering the entire surface of the mirror. Thanks to the high-speed Wi-Fi 6 module, the user can rip recorded videos and change camera settings wirelessly using the free Prido GO application (Android, iOS).

Fast Wi-Fi 6

The Prido X8 4K Wi-Fi GPS video recorder is equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi 6 module, thanks to which the user can connect to the device wirelessly using the free Prido GO application (Android, iOS). Wi-Fi standard 6 provides fast video transfer between the camera and mobile device. It is also possible to configure camera settings from the application.

 

Location via GPS

Each Prido X8 4K Wi-Fi GPS kit includes the Prido GPS M1 module, which extends the DVR's capabilities with GPS location function. After connecting the module, the camera can apply data on the exact location of the vehicle and its speed at a given point in the route to the recorded image. Such data may be particularly useful when a road incident occurs, after which the driver will have to prove the absence of his fault.

 

Voice control

The Prido X8 4K Wi-Fi GPS camera allows the driver to control the device with a set of simple voice commands. Thanks to this, the owner of the recorder can perform basic operations without having to take his eyes off the road and hands off the steering wheel of the car, which significantly increases his safety on the route.

Recording in a loop

The Prido X8 4K Wi-Fi GPS camera has a loop video recording function. This means that when the memory card is full, the device will start deleting the oldest recordings to save new videos in their place. Thanks to this, the driver does not have to worry about the fact that as a result of overfilling the memory card, the camera will not record an important event taking place during the journey.

 

Overload sensor (G-Sensor)

The Prido X8 4K Wi-Fi GPS video recorder has a built-in high-quality overload sensor (G-Sensor), which is designed to detect violent forces acting on the car, arising even during sudden braking or impact. When the sensor detects the appearance of such forces, the currently recorded video will be automatically protected against overwriting. This means that when overwriting videos during the loop recording process, the recording will not be overwritten and replaced with new video material.

 

3 Parking Modes

The driver can choose from the classic parking mode, activated by shock detection by the overload sensor (G-Sensor) mounted in the camera, time-lapse mode and continuous recording mode.
