The camera uses GPS and GLONASS geolocation systems to determine position.

Nextbase 622GW is the world’s first dash cam using what3words geolocation system. With this revolutionary feature, the video recorder is able to determine your location with an accuracy of 3 meters square. Moreover, he does not need an internet connection to do so.

Communication

The Nextbase 622GW camera is equipped with QuickLink Wi-Fi module, which enables fast and trouble-free communication between the recorder and your mobile device or tablet. This allows you to download the saved recording without having to detach the camera from the mount. What’s more, in the camera settings you can activate image recording in two resolutions. After selecting this option, each recording will be saved in full and optimized quality, which will allow you to download and preview the file on your phone or tablet faster.

Nextbase 622GW is also equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 module. This allows the video recorder to communicate wirelessly with other Bluetooth-enabled devices, e.g. With your smartphone. Using Bluetooth, you can access recordings saved by the camera, as well as affect the operation of other functions of the recorder.

High-precision overload sensor (G-Sensor)
