FineVu GX1000 video recorder was developed and manufactured by one of the largest manufacturers in the automotive IT industry – FineDigital Inc./FineVu from South Korea. It has been known for a long time that Korean car cameras are the world leaders in this industry. Especially those that are designed and manufactured independently by a given brand under its own name, and not ordered from other manufacturers with their own logo added. FineVu manufactures the recorders itself in its own factory. Thanks to this, the company has full control over quality, starting from the design stage, through production and ending with final testing and after-sales service. It is no different with FineVu GX1000. Without a doubt, it is one of the best-performing, well-equipped and least-emergency branded 2.5K QHD+QHD recorders without a screen, which are available on the market at a similar price.

TWO CAMERAS "QHD" - REALISTIC HIGH-DEFINITION RECORDINGS "2.5K QUAD HD" ON THE FRONT AND BACK
FineVu GX1000 is a 2-channel video recorder equipped with two cameras that can record both front and rear images simultaneously. Both cameras allow you to record crystal clear videos in elevated 2.5K Quad HD 2560x1440p / 30 frames per second resolution. QHD is 4 times more than HD. Thanks to this, the FineVu GX1000 always captures a very clear and sharp image of each event while driving and stopping.
BRIGHTER PICTURE AT NIGHT AND CLEARER DURING THE DAY
The detail and legibility of the image recorded by video recorders depends primarily on the quality of the optical sensor used. FineVu GX1000 is equipped with two SONY STARVIS 5.14 Mpx IMX335 optical sensors, which are one of the best sensors designed for recording with 2.5K QHD resolution day and night, which are used in car DVRs of higher class and premium class. SONY STARVIS IMX335 optical sensors provide a much clearer picture during the day and a much brighter image at night, even in low outdoor light.
2 x HDR - MORE VISIBLE DETAILS IN HARSH LIGHTING CONDITIONS
HDR (High Dynamic Range) is a feature that improves the image quality of the front and rear cameras, which allows you to display objects and details more clearly. It automatically combines images with different levels of luminance (dark and bright), as a result of which the resultant image is more clear, has higher dynamics, quality and readability. HDR is effective at night and in places with a large contrast difference where it is difficult to identify details (e.g. an overexposed or underexposed license plate). What’s more, it’s also useful for daytime driving, as it allows you to record videos more clearly in adverse lighting conditions (e.g. dark tunnels, very strong sunlight).
AUTO DAY & NIGHT VISION - AUTOMATICALLY SETS THE OPTIMAL VIDEO QUALITY
The AUTO DAY & NIGHT VISION function enables the FineVu GX1000 recorder to record clear and balanced videos in difficult lighting conditions such as night, underground parking lots, dark streets, as well as very bright daylight. Auto Day & Night Vision ensures optimal video quality (brightness, contrast) thanks to automatic tuning of image parameters in all conditions, including during the day and during rapidly changing lighting, e.g. in the tact of leaving the dark tunnel into strong sunlight and vice versa.
FLAT GLASS-MOUNTED DESIGN WITHOUT VISIBLE BRACKET
The compact housing in black without LCD display and protruding bracket provides discreet "flat" installation to the windshield, without limiting the visibility of the road and the functionality of the rearview mirror. Experience a sense of complete consistency with your vehicle's interior design. The absence of distinctive colored, bright or glossy accents of the housing finish means that when the GX1000 recorder is mounted behind the rear-view mirror or at the top edge of the windscreen, it is practically invisible from the outside against the background of the interior of the car cabin. The recorder is supported by an iOS or Android smartphone with the "FineVu Wi-Fi" application installed.
COMFORTABLE OPERATION VIA SMARTPHONE WITH THE APPLICATION in Polish
Connect the FineVu GX1000 video recorder to your smartphone using the built-in Wi-Fi. The FineVu Wi-Fi app for smartphones provides very easy access to major features such as:live view of the image from both cameras while driving or during the installation of the recorder,Viewing and downloading recorded videos to the phone memory, sending recordings to other people or sharing them on social media, change the functions and settings of the recorder, online update of the software and speed camera database. In the application, you can also turn off showing the speed of the vehicle on recorded videos. The "Event Summary" tab allows you to conveniently check in one view many different information about driving and stopping. You can view by a specific date or a wider range of time: the number of recorded events, recorded videos, driving and stopping time, distance traveled, average driving speed, beginning and end of the journey and route on the map. The built-in GPS receiver does not require additional assembly and ensures proper operation of the clock, ADAS Plus assistant and speed camera notifications.
VIDEO CACHING - AN IMPORTANT FUNCTION WHEN DETERMINING THE PERPETRATOR OF AN EVENT
Continuous video caching is an important feature that only the best Premium DVRs usually have. Before the image from the cameras is saved on the memory card, it is kept for some time in the internal memory of the recorder. When the sensors detect an event (impact, movement) while driving or stationary, a video from the video memory buffer will be saved on the card, which includes a time of 10 seconds "backwards" before and 10 seconds after the event occurs. Recording a situation that was on the road a few seconds before the event occurred can be helpful in disputed cases when determining the perpetrator. An example would be driving to the back of another car. A recorder without a video buffer will record this event from the moment it hits the vehicle, and most often with a delay from detecting the impact. However, it is not always the culprit during such an event that the driver who drove into the back of the car is to blame, because he may have been pushed there by another traffic participant. The FineVu GX1000 recorder will record the situation that was on the road 10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the collision of vehicles. Video caching works while driving, stopping, and recording manually.
IDEAL SOLUTION FOR LONG DRIVING AND STOPPING
Smart time-lapse recording SMART (orig. Smart Time Lapse), which increases write performance. Thanks to this, you can record ok on the memory card. 5 times more real time than standard recording. If there are no important events during recording (shock, accident), then the frame rate is reduced to 2 fps. /s (Parking) and 6 kl. /s (Riding) to save space on the card. When shock or motion sensors detect an event, a record of that event is restored with a standard 30-fps fluidity. /s. Proof-important recordings containing events are always recorded smoothly with the best quality and include a time of 10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the event occurs. Playback is done at normal speed, which allows you to quickly check the entire recording period at an accelerated pace. In standard FineVu mode, the GX1000 with a 32GB card records 125 minutes of QHD videos without overwriting them. In SMART time-lapse smart mode, this is ok. 5 times more efficient and can record continuously 676 minutes of real time without overwriting old recordings. It takes approx. to record this length of real time with standard recording. 160GB of memory.
INTELLIGENT PARKING MODE
The FineVu GX1000 video recorder is equipped with a technically advanced parking mode with artificial intelligence (Ai) technology, which works with motion detection systems (front and rear) and a three-axis accelerometer (G-sensor) detecting and filtering shocks, impacts and overloads. This makes it possible to use the GX1000 as an effective vehicle monitoring device at a standstill, which will perform recordings confirming vandalism, crashes or attempted theft of equipment. Parking mode is automatically switched on immediately after switching off the vehicle ignition switch. Recording of 20-second videos is triggered whenever body shock and/or movement is detected in the lenses of both cameras. With video caching, recordings contain more important evidence that could have occurred up to 10 seconds before the event occurred. Videos are saved in a separate folder so that they are not lost by overwriting with newer recordings. The user can individually configure many Parking mode functions, e.g.: turn on/off detected motion, set the sensitivity of shock and motion sensors, set the video quality and battery protection against discharge, and choose one of four methods of operation and recording in parking mode.
LOW POWER CONSUMPTION - EXTENDED PROTECTION TIME OF THE VEHICLE DURING STANDSTILL
A holiday, business trip or other long absence? FineVu will take care of your car. The "Low Power Consumption" option (original name "Power Saving") is one of several methods of parking mode, which is equipped with the FineVu GX1000 recorder. With this highly energy-efficient option, the recorder draws 98% less energy from the vehicle battery than in standard parking mode. Immediately after turning off the vehicle ignition, the standard parking mode with shock and motion detection is activated for 60 seconds. After a minute, the recorder goes into an energy-saving variant "Low Power Consumption", which in standby mode powers only the shock-overload sensor (G-sensor). Motion detection and other recorder systems are switched off, thanks to which the current consumption during standstill drops to the value of approx. 5 mA. If the G-sensor detects a shock or impact on the vehicle body, the recorder "wakes up" from standby and starts recording this event by both cameras. The recording time of each event is 20 seconds after the G-sensor is activated. Then, for another 60 seconds, ambient surveillance is activated with motion detection in the front and rear camera frame along with its recording in case of detection (e.g. escape of the perpetrator). After this time, the recorder again switches to standby with very low power consumption. Thanks to this option, the FineVu GX1000 can stand ready to record bruises and other body damage during standstill for up to 2325 hours, i.e. more than 3 months (the presented operating times were achieved using the same auxiliary battery with a capacity of 16000 mAh).
DO NOT BE AFRAID OF DISCHARGE OF THE BATTERY IN PARKING MODE
If during a parking mode stop the vehicle battery voltage drops below the value set in the recorder, FineVu GX1000 will automatically detect this drop and cut off its own power supply (the recorder will turn off) to protect the battery from deep discharge. The value of the battery voltage below which the recorder will be switched off can be set in the range of 11.6-12.2V for cars with 12V installation and in the range of 23.2-24.4V for vehicles with 24V installation. The FineVu GX1000 video recorder, as one of the few on the market, also has a third range of 12.8-13.4V off voltage setting, which is designed for hybrid cars equipped with an on-board electrical system with increased voltage (over 13V after switching off the engine, e.g. Hyundai, Kia, some Honda hybrids) or with ISG (Idle Stop & GO) system. There is also an option “Auxiliary battery”, used when powering the recorder from a separate battery or powerbank. Regardless, it is also possible to limit the duration of the parking mode in the range of 3-48 hours, after which the recorder will turn off. You can also choose the energy-saving option of the parking mode "Low Power Consumption" with very low power consumption from the vehicle battery (approx. 5 mA).
INTELLIGENT DETECTION AND FILTERING OF BODY IMPACTS
AI DAMAGE DETECTION 2.0 is an innovative parking mode feature that uses machine learning technology (artificial intelligence – Ai). Thanks to it, the FineVu GX1000 recorder can recognize the nature of certain shocks and inform which area of the car was hit during a stopover. The system distinguishes 8 directions (areas) of impacts on the body and 3 levels of their strength. AI Damage Detection has in its memory more than 3 million experimental samples of shocks, vibrations and impacts with different characteristics, which are compared with impacts detected in parking mode. This makes it possible to distinguish and filter impacts that may have arisen as a result of a crash or other damage to the vehicle body from other shocks and frequently repeated operating vibrations (e.g. when closing the door or tailgate). These events will also be recorded, but will be omitted from the notifications sent as less important. After starting the engine, the recorder will inform you about the number of recorded events / hits that the system has classified as worth checking. If the GX1000 is connected to the FineVu Wi-Fi application, the smartphone screen will display information about the number of events / impacts detected during the last stop, and graphics with the selected area of the vehicle body that may have been hit. By touching the screen, you can go to the saved video recordings to check the cause of the recent launches of the impact detection sensor.
UNINTERRUPTED PROTECTION OF THE VEHICLE AT A STANDSTILL EVEN ON THE HOTTEST DAYS
The FineVu GX1000 is designed to efficiently dissipate heat from the inside of the housing. In addition, it has a built-in intelligent (Ai) overheating protection system, thanks to which the recorder does not stop protecting the vehicle even on the hottest days. At very high temperatures, the standard thermal protections used in most other car cameras turn off the power to protect the device from damage due to overheating. As a result, such a video recorder ceases to be ready to record events and the vehicle remains without any protection during further standstill. However, this does not apply to FineVu GX1000. If the temperature rises significantly during the operation of the recorder in the standard (full) parking mode with motion detection, then the device will not be turned off, only automatically switch to further operation in the energy-saving parking mode with very low power consumption and low operating temperature. When the temperature inside the housing drops, it will switch back to the previous variant of parking mode with motion detection. Thanks to this, the FineVu GX1000 is always, even on the hottest days, constantly on standby to detect impacts and record damage to the vehicle during standstill.
YOU ALWAYS HAVE A "ON HAND" BUTTON TO PERPETUATE AN UNEXPECTED SITUATION
Press the REC/MIC button on the recorder to immediately start recording documenting unexpected events or inappropriate behaviors in the way of other traffic participants (e.g. sudden dangerous roadblocks, reprehensible behavior of road "sheriffs", etc. ). Videos recorded manually are stored in a separate folder called "Manual". You can reach for them later if necessary without worrying that they will be lost by overwriting with other recordings recorded automatically in the loop while driving. Each recording started manually takes 20 seconds and documents the situation on the road that occurred from 10 seconds back before pressing the REC button to 10 seconds after pressing the button. This allows you to effectively record complete evidence even then. when you react with a delay and press the recording button a few seconds after an unexpected event occurs on the road.
ADAS Plus - SAFE DRIVING SUPPORT SYSTEMS
ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) are advanced driver assistance systems that help improve driving and safety thanks to the sound warnings generated. All functions can be enabled or disabled in the app.
FVMA Assistant (Front Vehicle Motion Alert) – When the car is standing at an intersection, in front of a red light or in traffic jam, the FVMA assistant monitors the area in front of the car and informs the driver with a short sound that the vehicle in front has already started. This can reduce driver response delays and improve traffic flow.
LDWS (Lane Departure Warning System) Assistant – When the car leaves its lane, the LDWS assistant will detect in real time the crossing of the lane separation line and generate an audible warning. In the device menu, you can set the speed above which line detection is to work.
Don’t get tired and drowsy while driving! Turn on the rest assistant, and FineVu GX1000 will advise you to take a break for a short rest by voice depending on the driving time. If you ignore this proposal and do not turn off the engine, the message will be repeated in an hour. In addition, the recorder can also talk about any full hour that is currently an hour (e.g. "Fifth hour").
WARNINGS ABOUT SPEED CAMERAS AND MEDIUM SPEED CAMERAS
GPS guide about speed cameras and roadside control cameras is a built-in assistant informing the driver with the voice in Polish about the location of devices and speed control zones, such as:stationary speed cameras, cameras controlling the passage at a red light, distance camera measuring average speed, as well as zones,In which area you can often meet a mobile police patrol with speed measuring equipment. With the FineVu GX1000 you drive safer and without fines. The database with the location of road control devices and zones located on Polish territory is updated free of charge and indefinitely every quarter. Speed camera notifications are not supported in all countries (in Europe available for: Poland, Germany, France, Estonia, Greece, Spain, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, United Kingdom).
ASSISTANCE IN OPTIMAL SETTING OF THE CAMERA TILT ANGLE
No more poorly cropped videos or ones that have recorded too much sky view with fewer visible objects on the road! The camera tilt angle assistant helps to optimally adjust the tilt of the lens so that recordings are made at the correct angle to the road, taking into account the height of the car in which the recorder is mounted (passenger car, SUV, truck). It also allows you to calibrate the camera vertically to the horizon line and horizontally to the center of the roadway to ensure proper working conditions of the ADAS Plus assistant.
FREE FORMAT - GREATER PERFORMANCE AND LIFESPAN OF MEMORY CARDS
Learn the most innovative FORMAT FREE write method that increases stability and maximizes write performance on the memory card, and extends its lifespan. Format Free recording technology eliminates the need for regular manual formatting of the memory card every few weeks, which is required by older technologies used in most recorders with a lower level of technical sophistication. In addition, this technology contributes to increasing the reliability of the memory card and significantly reduces the waste of space on the card. The function of effectively reducing memory card consumption helps to store data evenly, thanks to which it prevents DVR failures and loss of saved data by preventing excessive use of only certain areas of memory. You can safely use this technology for a long time, preventing the memory card from shortening its life without having to remember to format it every few weeks to keep the recorder in full working order. FineVu GX1000 will free you from this.
QUICK SHUTDOWN OF THE RECORDER WITH MEMORY CARD PROTECTION
The mechanical power switch is a simple but very convenient solution for everyday use of the device. It can be useful in a situation where we temporarily do not want to use the automatically switched on parking mode to protect the battery from discharge, e.g. during a longer car stop in the home garage. Easier and faster to turn off the recorder with a switch than to deactivate the parking mode in the smartphone application. The power switch is also a mechanical lock of the memory card slot (Smatr SD Lock), which prevents the card from being removed during operation of the device. The card can be removed from the socket only after turning off the recorder with a switch. Thanks to this, the card and saved files are protected from damage that could arise during the sudden removal of the card from the device during recording.
DUAL-CORE PROCESSOR - FASTER AND MORE STABLE OPERATION WITH A HIGH-PERFORMANCE PROCESSOR
The Allwinner V536 Dual Core processor is the brain that provides FineVu GX1000 with smooth operation and seamless interoperability of all functions. With improved processing capabilities, it supports our innovative features to make them run faster and more stable. FineVu GX1000 automatically and effortlessly switches between driving and parking modes (if properly connected), becoming a real maintenance-free recorder, which you can even forget about in the car sometimes.
