In power-saving mode, the recorder minimizes power consumption by going into standby mode, then wakes up when an impact is detected and returns to standby after 1 minute of recording.

It provides several weeks of protection when connected to a working car battery and even several months of protection when connected to the BlackVue Ultra Battery (B-130A).

Ultra-low power consumption: less than 1 mA (actually less than 0.5 mA) — hundreds of times less than standard mode.

Instant wake-up time: less than 1 second!

Minimum heat generation: In standby mode, the ELITE 9 practically does not heat up, so it works reliably even in hot climates.

✅ The best daily protection with pre-event recording

Two standard parking mode settings:

• Motion Detection: Records a 1-minute buffered video when motion is detected with the front or rear camera. Detection areas can be set manually in the app.
• Time Lapse: Records continuously at 1 frame per second — each 1-minute sequence covers 30 minutes of real-time.

Recommended if you frequently park in busy areas.

Pre-impact recordings: In both modes, the recorder saves buffered event clips when an impact is detected. This means 1-minute clips that start 10 seconds before the event.

It detects and records impacts while driving, parking lot impacts, sudden accelerations, sharp braking, sudden turns and speeding, using the built-in G-sensor and GPS.
