Character of the device

The AVer VB342 Pro is an integrated video conferencing device that combines a 4K camera, microphone array and speakers in one housing. Designed for conference rooms, training rooms and rooms with non-standard arrangement, it allows you to conduct video meetings with increased image and sound quality.

Camera and framing

The camera captures images in 4K resolution (3840 × 2160) with a viewing angle of approximately 92°. The device offers automatic framing and speaker tracking, including source-based tracking. There is 3× optical zoom and additional digital zoom; image parameters and operating modes can be configured using the PTZApp2 application.

Sound and Microphones

The equipment includes a matrix of 10 microphones with beamforming technology, which improves voice collection at a distance of up to about 8 meters and supports noise and echo reduction. Built-in speakers with a declared power of 2 × 6 W cooperate with the bass port tuning system, ensuring speech clarity in small and medium-sized rooms; the maximum sound pressure reaches up to about 96 dB SPL (measured in 0,5 m).

Connectivity and compatibility

The device works in plug-in mode and use when connected to a computer using USB or HDMI interfaces. Available connectors include USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1), USB 2.0 Type-B port, HDMI output and Ethernet (RJ45) port. The product works with commonly used conferencing applications and Windows, macOS and Chromebox devices; some features may require driver updates or configurations in the PTZApp2 app.

Power supply and installation

The power supply is provided from the AC mains. The device is designed to be placed on a stable surface or wall mounted.
