The baby hammock imitates the safe embrace of the parent and its gentle rocking, adapting to the child's body. Most kids love to fall asleep while rocking. Our hammock is the perfect replacement for your hands when they are tired and your child needs relief.
The Basic model is soft and comfortable, made of 100% organic cotton. The set includes a polyester-filled mattress, an organic cotton sheet, and a metal spring. The hammock is equipped with a carabiner that allows you to hang it directly on the included spring. The carabineer is covered with rubber to protect against possible metal chipping.
We recommend washing the hammock by hand at 30 °C. The mattress is machine washable in max. 30 °C.
Guidelines for a good start:
✓ Use a hammock when it is full and sleepy.
✓ Put your hand on the child and sing a short song to make him feel your presence.
✓ Gently rock the hammock up-down with your hand.
✓ If your baby becomes restless or starts crying, take them on your hand, hug them and try again later or the next day.
Before using a hammock, it is important to ensure adequate space between the hammock and the floor. You can check it out as follows:
- Install the hammock according to the assembly instructions.
- Place an object in the hammock with a weight similar to the weight of the child.
- Straighten the cord as much as possible by pulling down the spring until the safety strap fully stretches.
- Make sure that with maximum stretching of the strap, the hammock does not touch the floor – there should be a gap. Check it regularly.
