Child car seat with a height of 100cm-150cm with optional ISOFIX attachment. It is possible to use both in cars with isofix mount and on seats without this system, the installation of a child and a car seat belt.

Avionaut MaxSpace Airflow is the latest variant in the manufacturer’s offer. It is made of a special mesh that allows free air flow under the child, which in combination with external ventilation of the seat, gives better thermal comfort.

Airflow refers to car upholstery in the Premium segment, the best materials and attention to detail are the distinguishing features of this model.

In addition, the Airflow version has a wider headrest relative to the older versions of this seat, which also has an impact on improving the comfort of the child, better ventilation of the head area, supported by a breathable mesh. Another difference from older versions is the much thicker lower roller of the CS+ system, and the increased hardness of both.

Maxspace Airflow has the latest European standard UN R-129/3, commonly known as i-Size. Obtaining this approval is primarily characterized by determining the height range of the child who can travel in this model.

This ranges from 100 cm to 150 cm. Additionally, a weight limit is set here, which is equal to the weight from 15 kg to 50 kg, which gives an age range from about 3 to about 12 years.

An additional feature of compliance with this regulation is the ISOFIX attachment of the seat. It not only increases the stability of the fastener in the car during travel, but also increases safety during front and side collisions.

The isofix closure also guarantees greater safety for other passengers, compared to the optionally unfastened, loose seat.

The Avionaut MaxSpace car seat, like all child safety seats designed for this height range, does not have internal harnesses to secure the child.

Instead, the young passenger is secured using the car's 3-point seat belt, just like an adult. Seat belt guides integrated into the car seat ensure the belt is correctly positioned across the child.

This adjustment to the child's height should be done regularly as the child grows.

The headrest of the seat, not only protects the head in the event of an accident, but also, thanks to the guide in it, allows you to adjust the height of the car belt to the height of the child.

The height of the headrest is changed using one transverse button located in the back of the headrest. The height of the headrest should be set so that the car belt is located in the middle of the arm.

The seat is equipped with two hip belt guides that ensure the correct course of this section of the belt. These are so-called. "armrests." The armrests have been trimmed with leather, to ensure the child's comfort and parents' sense of high quality of this product.

The shell of the seat ensures proper protection of the child in the event of an accident. Deep headrest, and side wings with an additional energy-intensive element, added from the door side, affects the high level of safety during a side impact.

According to ADAC, the seat protects at the level of 2,2 or 4 stars in this type of collision. Depending on the place of attachment of the seat in the car, an additional element is assumed either on the left or on the right side of the shell.

Avionaut MaxSpace i-Size and ADAC tests

The MaxSpace i-Size is a model of the car seat that officially went on sale in the first quarter of 2020. After about two years, a new version of CS+ was introduced, which was noticed by ADAC, which in October 2022 tested the seat at its German test center. It received a rating of 2.3 or 4 stars. Confirming the high quality of this product.

The seat is additionally compliant with the i-Size standard, under which any type of collision is carried out: front, side and rear of the vehicle. Such approval is in itself a guarantee of a satisfactory level of safety.

ADAC is a German automobile with more than 17 million car enthusiasts. ADAC conducts tests on child seats. It has been evaluating them on a scale of 1-5. The German rating system applies (the lower the rating, the better). in Poland for a better understanding of the results of ADAC tests, "asterisks" are used, so when the ADAC car seat receives a rating of 1 - "sehr gut" (very good), in Poland it is said to have 5 stars *****.
