▶ Before the first use wipe the plates, lightly grease with oil and heat the device to "MAX" to get rid of the factory smell. This is normal if there is a light pair.
▶ Heating: set the temperature (LOW/MID for lighter, MAX for darker waffles) and wait approx. 10 minutes until the standby light goes out.
▶ Baking: Baking time is usually 5 to 10 minutes depending on the dough and preferences. The indicator light will turn on/off cyclically – this is a sign that the thermostat is working properly.
✅ Cleaning and maintenance
▶ After cooling disconnect the device, wipe the plates with a moist, then dry cloth.
▶ Lubricate stubborn residues with a little oil and remove with a wooden or plastic spatula.
