It is a blue pigment. Used as a whitening or coloring agent in blue depending on the amount used.
A pinch of ULTRAMARINE introduced to the last rinse of white underwear perfectly removes yellowish discoloration from it.
The mechanism of action is that it forms a suspension in water, whose blue particles penetrate between the fibers of the washed fabric giving an optical effect
bleaching. The preparation can also be used in small doses for "whitening" lime and gypsum and, in correspondingly larger ones, for dyeing paints
water.
Usage: Dissolve and mix in a small amount of water before use.
