dry-cap uv® is an electronic device for simultaneous drying, cleaning and charging, mainly dedicated to rechargeable hearing aids . In the cleaning process, it uses additional UV-C light and blue light (380-495 mm) . Thanks to the double USB 2.0 connector, it is perfect for both home and travel use.

Every hearing aid user knows best how important it is to have a reliable performance every day. The slightest failure of the apparatus deteriorates the everyday comfort of life and is associated with additional, often high, costs of its repairs.

Moisture and earwax can prevent hearing aids from working properly or even damage them. The dry-cap uv® dehumidifier offers optimal protection against these factors.

Gentle drying with a powerful fan significantly extends the life and reliability of your hearing aid. The drying process is additionally supported by UV-C light and an additional source of blue light, ensuring clinical cleanliness of the devices. Ultraviolet light (253.7 nm UV-C) and blue light (850-395 mm) eliminate 99.9% of bacteria, fungi and viruses. This helps prevent the development of infections and inflammatory processes in the ear, protecting your hearing and health. Powered by a standard dual USB connection, the dry-cap uv® dehumidifier is mobile and can be used both at home and on the go, offering more freedom.

Easy operation of the device by touching one button allows you to select the appropriate operating mode and starts the automatically controlled drying process. The dry-cap uv® dehumidifier is energy efficient, inexpensive to run and safe. Dry-cap uv® operating modes

• The Dry & Clean mode (30 min) is an automatic program that combines fast drying, thanks to the powerful air blower, with UV-C light at the beginning and end of the drying process, which ensures perfect hygiene.
• Clean mode (1 min) is a short-term hygiene program that activates optimized UV-C light, effectively eliminating up to 99.9% of germs, bacteria and fungi on the item being cleaned.

Fan drying

A quiet, high-performance fan directs the air stream directly to the items to be dried placed under the dry-cap uv® cover. Without the heat effect that is detrimental to the charging process, the quick drying takes only 30 minutes. Rechargeable batteries or hearing aid batteries do not need to be removed.

Antiseptic cleaning with UV-C light

Health-promoting effects of blue light

The dehumidifier emits blue light (380-495 nm), which has long been known and used in medicine for the treatment of: acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and as an aid in the wound healing process. What's more, exposure of the skin to blue light causes antibacterial, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects.
