Plug 8P8C (8 Position 8 Contact) also called RJ45 is an eight-pin connector used in telecommunications installations and computer networks. The plug has eight pins, which during crimping are driven by insulation into the wires of the earned wire.

The offered plug is used for planting UTP unshielded twisted pair with a diameter of 5~6.0mm and a thickness of conductors (diameter with insulation) of 0.85~1.00mm, which corresponds to the inner diameter of conductors (without insulation) in the range of AWG24-27 (0.6-0.4mm). The plug has eight gold plated (6µin gold layer) pins with profiled blades for mounting on 8-wire twisted pair cables with cable (strand) conductors and ensures compliance with cat.5E parameters (class D, band 100MHz).

Attention! The plug is designed for cables with a maximum conductor diameter with insulation of 1.00mm. Please check before buying the diameter of the conductors of your cable because sometimes there are twisted pair cat.5E with conductors in thick insulation exceeding 1.00mm. In our offer we also have RJ45 plugs with a design that allows planting on thicker wires - designed for conductors up to 1.6mm thick.

To mount the plug on the cable, a special clamping tool is necessary, which during crimping drives the pins of the plug into the wires of a properly prepared cable and attaches the plug on the cable.
