Product Description

ACT eID card reader Belgium AC6015 is a compact USB chip card reader designed to read ID-1 identification cards, including Belgian and Italian ID cards. The device is not compatible with the ID card app in Germany and does not support NFC cards. The reader meets ISO 7816 standards for chip cards (T=0 or T=1) and PC/SC 1.0/2.0, EMV 4.1 and WHQL standards. This equipment is equipped with one socket and powered directly from the USB 2.0 port, which eliminates the need for additional power supply. The length of the USB cable is 1 meter, which ensures convenient use for desktops and laptops. The reader enables the use of electronic identity and digital signature, m.in. during access authorization and electronic security processes. Data transfer speed via USB port is up to 480 Mbps. The housing of the device is compact and maintained in black. The LED indicator indicates the status of the power supply.
