The waterproof parameters of the tent are determined by the so-called. the height of the water column. If the tent has a waterproofness of 3000/4000mm* water column, it means that a 3/4* meter column of water acting on its surface will not cause leaks.
The Ministry of Defense of Great Britain classifies 800mm of water column height as a value corresponding to waterproofness.
Coleman® uses polyethylene (PE) floors, which are relatively heavy but provide guaranteed protection against water. PE floors are ideal for family and tourist tents, where very low weight and small size are not the most important.
