Ambra is a unique and very characteristic ingredient in perfumery, although today it is no longer used due to the exorbitant price – a kilogram of this substance, which is a secretion from the gastrointestinal tract of sperm whales, costs up to tens of thousands of dollars.
Therefore, Molecule 02 uses ambroxan – the main component of natural amber, but obtained by synthesis, which gives the fragrance a warm, marine aroma. The addition of boronol, ambrinol and gamma ion makes the composition resemble the scent of amber nuggets smelling of sea and sand.
