APPLICATIONS AND DRILLING METHODS DEPENDING ON THE MATERIAL BEING DRILLED:

• all types of hardened steel

We use speeds from 2000 rpm. /min. We use a stationary drill. It is recommended to cool with emulsion or oil.

• stone, concrete

We use speeds from 1000 to 1500 rpm. /min. using or not hammering. For granite drilling, the rotation speed should not exceed 500 rpm. /min. Water cooling indicated.

• glaze, marble

The rotational speed should not exceed 1200 rpm. /min. Before starting the drill, you need to set the drill very carefully.

• porcelain, ceramics, stoneware

We drill slowly using low rotation speed and minimal pressure. It is beneficial to use a set of drills. We start drilling with a small diameter, after which we ream the hole to the desired dimension.

• glass, crystal

We use speeds up to 500 rpm. /min. We drill slowly with minimal pressure, preferably using a drill with smooth rotation adjustment. The drilled material should be rigidly fixed. In the case of drilling glass plates, it is necessary to provide support over the entire surface. We use kerosene or turpentine for cooling.

STONE FOR SHARPENING DRILL BITS using a drill.

Universal carbon-silicon stone is used for sharpening carbon-titanium, diamond and other drills and for processing materials: glaze, terracotta, glass, etc.

Very hard stone, made with an admixture of flint, which ensures high wear resistance, when processing various materials, even at low revs.

The higher the turnover – the lower the stone consumption. Recommended rotations from 500 to 1500 rpm.
