The Intel X710-T4L network adapter is a four-protote 10 GbE controller in PCIe format, designed for installation in servers and systems that require high-performance wired connectivity. The device provides four RJ45 connectors to work with copper cables, allowing you to transfer up to 10 Gbps per port.

Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq) support shifts some of the switching tasks from the virtualization layer to hardware, reducing virtualizer overhead and improving I/O scalability in multi-rail environments. The card also supports mechanisms related to connectivity virtualization (VT-c).

Supported link speeds are 100/1000/2500/5000/10000 Mbit/s, and the maximum range with copper cable is up to 100 m depending on the cable category.

Working environment and physical properties

The card is equipped with LED indicators for easy connection diagnostics. The operating temperature range is from 0 to 55°C, and the storage temperature range is from -40 to 70°C. The dimensions of the card are 167 mm wide and 69 mm deep; it is possible to mount using low-profile or full-height herring.
