The offered connector is used to connect two STP (shielded) cables equipped with RJ45 plugs with transmission in the cat.6A standard (class EA - 500MHz) at a speed of up to 10Gb / s. Thanks to the connector, we can obtain a cable (patchcord) of a longer length. Another use of the connector is to replace the type of cable termination from male to female to connect the device terminated with an RJ45 plug.

Internal connections of the connector are made 1:1 i.e. In both sockets, pins with the same numbers are connected to each other - thanks to this, it is possible to accurately reproduce the pins of the connected wires. The internal connection diagram of the connector is presented in the image below:

Both RJ45 sockets of the connector are fully shielded, the housing is made of nickel-plated brass sheet, thanks to which the continuity of shielding of the connected wires is maintained. The contacts are made of phosphor bronze covered with a layer of gold. A special feature of the connector are its small dimensions of only 15.8x17.8x30.5mm, which is sometimes desirable in the case of e.g. connecting wires in the installation trough. The connector meets ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2.2:2011-06, DIN EN 50173-1:2011-09, TIA/EIA-568-C.2 (2009-08) standards and meets both Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet parameters.
