With EN 61000-6-2 and 61000-6-4 Heavy Industrial EMC and railway EN 50121-4 certifications and IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ compliance, PLANET IGS-6329-8UP2S2X ensures uninterrupted data transmission and reliable PoE power supply, even in the event of interference from heavy industrial applications.
Compliant with IEEE 802.3bt Power over Ethernet Plus technology, the PLANET IGS-6329-8UP2S2X L3 Industrial Managed PoE++ Switch features eight 10/100/1000BASE-T 802.3bt PoE++ ports with each power port up to 95W, two 100/1000/2500BASE-X SFP ports, and two 10G SFP+ ports supplied in a rugged IP30 heavy duty metal housing for stable industrial operation. It supports multiple PoE modes, including 90-watt 802.3bt Type 4 PoE++ ports, 95-watt PoH (Power over HD-BASE-T) mode, and 4-pair extortion mode, to solve the incompatibility problem of custom 4-pair PoE PD devices in the field.
With the ability to operate in a wide temperature range from -40 to 75 degrees C, the IGS-6329 PoE++ switch can be placed in almost any harsh environment. The IGS-6329 PoE++ switch also allows mounting on a DIN rail or wall for efficient use of cabinet space.

The IGS-6329 PoE++ series uses IEEE 802 standard. bt PoE++ and PoH technology, so it is able to deliver up to 95W of power using all four pairs of Cat5e/6 standard Ethernet cabling to deliver power and data at full speed to any PoE-compatible remote powered device (PD). It has three times the power of conventional 802.3at PoE+ and is the ideal solution to meet the growing demand for higher power consumption PD devices, such as:

Convenient and intelligent ONVIF devices with detection
PLANET has developed a new feature - ONVIF Support - designed specifically to work with IP video surveillance systems. From the graphical interface of the IGS-6329 series PoE++ switch, it only takes one click to search and display all ONVIF devices using a web application.
Additionally, customers can upload floor plans to the switch, allowing them to locate surveillance devices for easier control and planning. What’s more, customers can get real-time information about surveillance and online/offline status, as well as allow you to control the restart of PoE cameras from the GUI.
Intelligent checking of the status of powered devices
The IGS-6329 PoE++ series can be configured to monitor the status of a connected PD device in real time through a ping action. When the PD stops working and responding, the IGS-6329 PoE++ Series will recalibrate the power of the PoE port and get the PD back up and running. In addition, it significantly increases reliability, as the PoE port resets PD power, thereby reducing the administrator's management burden.

The built-in "PoE schedule" feature allows you to turn PoE power on or off for each PoE port at specific time intervals, and it's a powerful feature that helps SMBs or enterprises save energy and money.
Scheduled energy recycling
The IGS-6329 PoE++ allows each of the connected PoE IP cameras or wireless PoE access points to restart at a specific time each week. This reduces the likelihood of an IP camera or access point failing due to buffer overflow.
Support for routing at Layer 3
The IGS-6329 series allows an administrator to conveniently increase network performance by manually configuring Layer 3 IPv4/IPv6 VLAN static routing, automatic configuration of RIP (Routing Information Protocol) or OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) settings. RIP can use the number of hops as a routing metric and prevent routing loops by entering a limit on the number of hops allowed in the path from source to destination. OSPF is an internal dynamic routing protocol for autonomous systems based on the state of the link. The protocol creates a link state database by exchanging link states between Layer 3 switches and then uses the Shortest Path First algorithm to generate a route table based on that database.
Redundant ring, fast recovery for critical web applications
The IGS-6329 series supports redundant ring technology and features a strong, fast self-healing capability to prevent interruptions and intrusions from outside. It includes advanced ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) technology, Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s MSTP) and a redundant power system in the customer’s industrial automation network to increase system reliability and uptime in harsh factory conditions. In a simple Ring network, the recovery time of a data link can be as long as 10 ms.

The IGS-6329 series has enhanced cybersecurity to protect against cyberthreats and cyberattacks. It supports SSHv2, TLSv1.2 and SNMPv3 protocols providing strong protection against advanced threats. The cybersecurity feature in the IGS-6329 series serves as a key data point and offers more than 95-watt PoE output for critical customer devices in the business network, protecting switch management and increasing mission-critical network security without the additional cost and effort of implementation.
Modbus TCP provides flexible network connectivity for factory automation
With support for Modbus TCP/IP protocol, the IGS-6329 series can easily integrate with SCADA systems, HMI systems and other factory floor data acquisition systems.
