Plug 8P8C (8 Position 8 Contact) also called RJ45 is an eight-pin connector used in telecommunications installations and computer networks. The plug has eight pins, which during crimping are driven by insulation into the wires of the earned wire.

The offered plug is used to plant UTP on unshielded twisted pair cable with a diameter in the range of 5.0~6.0mm and a thickness of conductors (diameter with insulation) in the range of 0.85~1.03mm which corresponds to the inner diameter of conductors (without insulation) in the range of AWG24-27 (0.5-0.4mm), although sometimes there are AWG23 cables (0.6mm) with a conductor diameter with insulation <1.03mm. The plug has eight gold plated (6µin gold layer) pins with profiled blades for mounting on 8-wire twisted pair cables with cable (strand) conductors. The plug ensures compliance with cat.6 parameters (class E, band 250MHz) and meets the requirements of Gigabit Ethernet transmission. A special remote control allows you to keep the pair turning at the maximum distance, which is required to ensure cat.6 parameters.

Attention! The plug is designed for cables with a maximum diameter of conductors with insulation of 1.03mm - in a plug with such a design due to size limitations, it is impossible to place 8 conductors with a larger diameter. Please check before buying the diameter of the conductors of your cable because quite often there are twisted pair cat.6 with thick insulation exceeding 1.03mm. In our offer we also have plugs of a different design - designed for conductors up to 1.6mm thick.

To mount the plug on the cable, a special clamping tool is necessary, which during crimping drives the pins of the plug into the wires of a properly prepared cable and attaches the plug on the cable.
