High energy efficiency and motion detection

The GS1100-10HP not only provides support for gigabit Ethernet connection for next-generation network applications, but also better power efficiency. IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) automatically detects network traffic and dynamically regulates power consumption, allowing the switch to reduce power consumption during low link activity.

Detection of inactive connections and cable lengths

If inactive links or devices are detected, power consumption is automatically reduced. Zyxel GS1100-10HP can regulate its consumption according to the link status and the number of active network devices. This feature allows the switch to automatically detect the length of connected Ethernet cables and adjust power consumption accordingly. The shorter the cable length, the lower the consumption.

Fans-free design

Because the entire GS1100 series is fanless, the devices ensure quiet operation in small or quiet office spaces. The GS1100-10HP is uniquely designed. It has an external power supply, so there is no need to install an additional fan to cool the power section.

Gigabit for desktop connections

The 10-port GS1100-10HP model, in addition to its 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports, is equipped with 2 additional SFP slots to enable fiber optic connections in remote installations.
