PROTECTION OF THE BALCONY FROM BIRDS

Polyethylene protective net is a proven and always effective method of protecting the balcony from birds and in particular stubborn pigeons. The 50x50 balcony net is an insurmountable barrier for pigeons and other birds, so it works in every case.

DISCREET PROTECTIVE NET FOR THE BALCONY

The mesh eye and sand color are selected to effectively protect against birds but at the same time it is little visible and does not shade the balcony.

WAYS OF INSTALLING A BALCONY NET

ASSEMBLY WITHOUT DRILLING

Easy installation with special hooks and glue from Avik without the need to drill into the facade. Hooks suitable are glued with a special glue to the facade (even "lamb") and then attached to them the net evenly stretching it.

ASSEMBLY ON ROPE AND PEGS

More complicated, but extremely durable assembly consisting in fixing anchors and pegs to the facade, dragging through them and pulling the steel cable with a Roman screw and fixing and tensioning the mesh to the cable with ties.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Before you start the work related to the installation of the grid, read the instructions prepared by us:

1. Spreading the rolled up net to the balcony - in the "Additional information" tab under the description of the auction you will find instructions that will make it easier for you to properly unfold and stretch the net to the ordered size.

2. Instructions for technical installation of the net (i.a. surface preparation, placement of accessories for assembly).

SEE RECOMMENDED METHODS OF MOUNTING THE NET ON THE BALCONY

OPTION I

NON-INVASIVE ATTACHMENT ON HOOKS

1. Carefully clean the installation sites of the hitches from any contamination.

2. Attach the hooks only on a dry surface. Apply a small amount of glue first to the hook.

• special rough surface of the hitch further increases the quality of assembly and durability of gluing;

• in the case of structural plaster - the so-called. "lamb" - use a little more glue to fill the unevenness of the wall.

3. Then apply the hook to the surface and press down for even distribution of the glue.

4. The distances between the hooks shall be not less than:

• 15-20 cm - protection for cats (5-6 pcs. per 1 mb of netting);

• 30 cm - protection against birds (3 pcs. per 1 mb grid).

After the glue dries (about 24 hours), start fixing the mesh.

5. To fix the net, put the string behind the hook tooth. Each hitch has two teeth for ease of installation.

6. Cut off the excess mesh with scissors. The mesh after cutting does not untangle.

OPTION II

DURABLE MOUNTING ON STEEL ROPE

1. Clean the assembly site carefully.

2. Fix the eyelet main anchors in the corners of the balcony and additionally in places of bends (in the case of corner balconies). Attach smaller intermediate hooks between the main anchors at intervals of not more than 100 cm.

3. After attaching the anchors, thread a steel cable through them.

4. Then attach the cord to both ends of the Roman screw with rope clamps. Twisting the screw body, tighten the rope.

5. Attach the net to the created wire rope frame with clamp ties.

6. Cut off the excess mesh with scissors.
