1. Dip the inner liner of the case in cold water for approx. 8 to 10 minutes (until the gel swells).
2. Dry the excess water gently from the surface of the liner.
3. Insert the insulin pen, ampoules or bottle inside the swollen insert.
4. Close the whole in the outer part of the case fastened with Velcro.
5. Enjoy effective cooling – no refrigerator, wherever you are!

After drying the insert, the action can be repeated many times. The liner dries about 2 weeks. Store in a dry, airy place when not in use.

☝ What temperature and how long will the FRÍO® thermal case last?

Insulin begins the process of decomposition at 30 degrees Celsius. The FRÍO® Thermal Case keeps your insulin within a safe temperature range of 18 to 26 degrees Celsius depending on the ambient temperature in which the FRÍO® Case is stored. For example, when the air temperature remains at 38,8°C, the FRÍO® case will keep the insulin at 26°C for a minimum of 45 hours.
