The DIGIARC-160 LCD welding machine is used for manual DC welding of steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metals with wrapped electrodes (MMA method). It also allows TIG Lift welding with arc ignition by rubbing (after using an additional handle). It is an inverter device, manufactured from the most technologically advanced components made in IGBT technology. The welder is equipped with an automatic ANTI STICK function, adjustable HOT START and ARC FORCE functions and the VRD function with the possibility of turning it off. The device is suitable for welding all types of electrodes regardless of the type of sheath

The device is used in closed or covered rooms, not exposed to direct weather conditions.

IGBT - the welding machine uses modern transistors, a solution that provides a minimum of electromagnetic interference small power losses in basic systems, enabling increased efficiency and reliability of the power source.

ANTI STICK - consists in cutting off / minimizing the welding voltage and current in the event of short circuit of the electrode with the welded material. ANTI STICK allows the welder to detach the electrode more easily.

VRD - a voltage reduction system whose task is to turn off the power supply within a few milliseconds after welding. This function is also responsible for reducing the voltage on the wrapped electrode to a safe level.

ARC FORCE - allows you to adjust the dynamics of the welding arc. Reducing the value of the function gives a soft arc and a smaller depth of melt, while increasing the value of the function causes deeper melting and the possibility of welding with a short arc. When setting the highest value for the ARC FORCE function, it is possible to press the electrode into the lake of molten metal and burn the material through.

HOT START - this is a temporary increase in welding current to facilitate the ignition of the electric arc and the preheating of the welded material.

OVERLOAD SWITCH - built-in protection against overheating of the device, prolonging its service life.
