The SNAKE 270 LED by MAGNUM is a lightweight, portable power source made in inverter technology. The device is powered from a three-phase 400V network, has a maximum welding current of 250A and a high 60% efficiency. SNAKE 270 is equipped with a clear multifunction LED display with an intuitive, easy-to-use control panel.

The Snake 270 LED is based on the latest technology using IGBT transistors. Thanks to its special design, the insulated gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) offers a stronger, more concentrated and more stable arc with less power consumption.

The device has the following function:

• - HOT START - "hot start". The HOT START function consists in temporarily increasing the welding current above the set value at the moment of arcing. This prevents the phenomenon of "sticking the electrode" in the initial phase of welding, making it easier to start the whole process.
