IGBT TECHNOLOGY
Modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an isolated gate. It combines the ease of control of field transistors with high breakdown voltage and the speed of switching bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology has an impact on significantly extending the reliable operation of welding equipment.
DEGREE OF PROTECTION
IP determines the degree to which the device is resistant to the ingress of solid and water contaminants. IP21 means that the device is adapted to work in closed rooms.
PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING
The IGBT module is protected from overheating by a protective installation that turns off the welding circuit of the device. After a few minutes, the welding machine is cooled to a temperature allowing it to be switched on again.
WORK CYCLE
The work cycle is based on a 10-minute period. The 40% duty cycle means that a 6-minute break is required after 4 minutes of operation. The 100% duty cycle means that the device can work continuously, without interruptions.
MMA
A method in which a wrapped electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with a sheath. The device allows welding with all types of electrodes, e.g. alkaline, cellulose, rutile or acidic.
ARC FORCE
Increasing or decreasing the length of the welding arc depending on the distance of the electrode from the material being welded. Allows you to adjust the dynamics of the welding arc. Shortening the arc length is accompanied by an increase in welding current, which results in stabilisation of the arc.
HOT START
The function is designed to prevent sticking the electrode to the material and is a great convenience when arcing. It works at the moment of arcing, causing a temporary increase in the welding current above the value set by the welder.
POLARITY CHANGE - WELDING WITHOUT GAS
Thanks to the variable polarity, it is possible to weld using the FLUX method with powder wire without shielding gas. The wire is filled with flux producing protective gases during welding.
TIG LIFT WELDING
For welding with this method, it is necessary to use an additional TIG handle. A gas-cooled handle with current load capacity suitable for the device is required, equipped with a shield gas control valve.
TIG LIFT handle is an additional option, which can be purchased at our other auctions.
SYNERGY
MIG/MAG welding using synergistic settings. The device selects welding parameters depending on the selected type and thickness of the material. These parameters can be changed by the user to adjust the settings to suit their needs.
REGULATION OF INDUCTANCE
It allows you to optimize arch characteristics depending on the thickness of the welded element and the welding method and conditions. The function is useful during MIG/MAG welding of thin elements, preventing them from burning out and soldering galvanized elements.
2T/4T
2T - Pressing the welding torch button will cause the gas to pre-flow, then ignite the arc and start welding. When the button is released, the arc will be extinguished and the gas will flow out.
4T - Pressing and releasing the welding torch button will cause the gas to pre-flow, then the arc to glow and start welding. After pressing and releasing the button again, the arc will be extinguished and the gas will flow out.
2 ROLLER WIRE FEEDER
Professional feeder made of die-cast aluminum, has a strong motor, which allows for stable feeding of wire be
BURN BACK
Precise regulation of the burning time of the end of the welding wire eliminates the risk of welding wire sticking to the current tip.
SLOW FEED
This is a function of so-called. soft start of the wire feeder, recommended especially when welding with large currents at high wire feed speeds.
EASY-TO-USE, EASY-TO-READ CONTROL PANEL:
Easy to use control panel allows precise and smooth adjustment of parameters. Digital display indicates the actual current during welding. The semi-automatic welding machine has a menu that facilitates operation and allows you to choose the type of welded material.
PRE GAS
Regulation of shielding gas outflow time before welding.
POST GAS
Regulation of shielding gas outflow time after welding.
TIG AC/DC
Welding by TIG alternating current. This is required for welding aluminum and its alloys.
TIG PULSE
The function affects the shape of the weldsy and focus of the arc. Pulse welding also reduces the amount of heat supplied to the material and is applicable when welding thin materials.
HF - NON-CONTACT ARC IGNITION
The device is equipped with a ionizer enabling contactless arcing.
RISING CURRENT
The time of current build-up of welding from the initial current to the set value of the welding current.
CURRENT DROP
Welding current drop time from set to zero or crater current value.
PULSE FREQUENCY
The frequency with which the pulse value of the current between the welding current and the base current changes.
FREQUENCY OF CURRENT AC
Function useful for welding aluminum. The higher the frequency, the better the quality of the weld and the better the focus of the arc
AC CURRENT BALANCE
The ratio of the duration of the positive phase of the current to the negative phase. Reduction of balance causes more heat to be introduced into the material, resulting in a narrower weld and deeper melting, while reducing the thermal load on the tungsten electrode.
Increasing the balance causes less heat to be introduced into the material, resulting in better cleaning, a wide weld and shallower melting, but significantly burdens the tungsten electrode.
SELECTION OF THE AC CURRENT WAVEFORM
- Sine wave - Classic wave, similar to transformer welding machines, preferred by older welders.
- Rectangular wave - Universal, the most commonly used waveform for welding any material. It generates more heat in the welding zone, more melting than other shapes.
- Triangular wave - Preferred especially for welding thin materials.
PULSE WIDTH
The duration of the pulse, allows you to adjust the depth of melting. The increase in width increases the depth of melting, reducing the amount of heat introduced into the material, reducing the risk of burning thinner sheets or smaller elements.
BASE CURRENT
The current responsible for maintaining the welding process, the lower value of the current pulse. It makes it easier to control the amount of heat introduced into the material. Adjustment of the base current is possible only when welding with a pulse.
TIG IMPULSE
Pulse welding is a variant of TIG spot welding that allows the bonding of thin elements, thanks to very low heat emission in the joining zone. It consists of cyclic short-term arcing and extinction.
SPOT
TIG spot welding consisting in bonding thin elements, thanks to very low heat emission in the joining zone. It consists in cyclic short-term ignition and extinction of the arch.
INSULATION CLASS F
Type of insulation materials used, informing about the maximum operating temperature of the transformer. Its exceeding at continuous operation reduces the service life and time of trouble-free operation of the transformer. For class F 155°C.
STRONG AND ROBUST CONSTRUCTION
The housing of the device is made of light and durable composites, resistant to all kinds of mechanical damage.
EASY TRANSPORT
Equipping the welding machine with two transport handles ensures convenience when changing workplaces.
COOLING
The device has a cooling system fan which definitely increases its efficiency
