The power factor correction module reduces interference to the grid and reduces reactive energy consumption. Thanks to this, we minimize the risk of welding repairs, as well as use the full potential of the welding machine (maximum amperage) even on a 50 meter extension cord.

✅ GREATER WELDING CAPABILITIES

The welder at the maximum setting 200A will download only 7,1 kVA. A welder with the same welding current, without PFC module, will take about 9,9 kVA. Almost 3 kVA more at 230V supply voltage is a huge problem for both electrical installations and generator sets.

✅ EQUIPPED WITH MANY FUNCTIONS

✔ DC PULSE

Pulse current welding. The welding current in an orderly manner reaches alternately the base and peak level. This reduces the overall heat supply to the welded material and spatter. The welder is equipped with pulse frequency adjustment in the range from 1 to 100Hz and peak and base current power values relative to the algorithm for a given setting in the range from 10 to 50%.

✔ HOT START

When the electrode is applied to the welded material, the welding machine increases the welding current for a fraction of a second, which greatly facilitates the glow of the arc. The device allows you to adjust the function in the range of 0-50% and its operating time from 0.0 to 2.0s.

✔ARC FORCE

It regulates the arc dynamics depending on the distance of the electrode from the welded element. Model YT-81358 has adjustable parameters of this function in the range of -15 to +15%.

✔ ANTI STICK

It cuts off the welding current when the electrode is shorted, which allows the electrode to be detached from the welded material.

✔ VRD

The function lowers the idle voltage from about 60V to a human-safe level. The YT-81358 has the ability to enable and disable VRD.

✅ MODES FOR ELECTRODES

Automatic output voltage adjustment for different types of electrodes. The welder has preloaded dedicated settings for alkaline electrodes (E7018), cellulose electrodes (E6010) and rutile electrodes (E6013)
