IDEAL PRAKTIK MIG 211 MMA is a modern inverter semi-automatic welding machine designed for versatile applications in workshops, services, farms and home garages. The device allows welding with three popular methods: MIG/MAG, FLUX (self-shielded wire without the use of protective gas) and MMA with a direct current (DC) electrode.
Thanks to the wide application possibilities, the welding machine is perfect for repairs, assembly works and making steel structures. It enables precise welding of thin elements made of carbon steel and stainless steel.
The heart of the device is modern inverter technology based on efficient IGBT transistors, which ensure stable welding arc, high efficiency and reliable operation even during intensive use. The use of this technology reduces electromagnetic interference, reduces energy consumption and enables the device to react quickly to changes in welding parameters, resulting in greater precision and better quality of welds.
The machine in the set has wheels and chassis for cylinders - you can decide whether you want a portable version or with a chassis

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE DIFFERENT WELDING METHODS OFFERED BY THE DEVICE
Welding with wrapped electrode (MMA – Manual Metal Arc)
MMA welding is one of the oldest and most versatile methods of joining metals. It involves manually guiding a wrapped electrode that melts under the influence of an electric arc, forming a weld. The electrode wrapper performs a protective function, creating a shielding gas and slag that protects the liquid metal from oxidation.
The main advantages of the MMA method:
- Universality – it can be used to weld various materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron) in almost any conditions.
- No need for shielding gas – works great outdoors, e.g. in wind and rain.
- Simple and relatively cheap apparatus – all you need is an MMA welding machine and electrodes.
- The ability to weld in different positions – even in hard-to-reach places.
Migomat welding (MIG/MAG – Metal Inert/Active Gas)
Migomat welding is the process by which an electric arc melts an electrode in the form of a welding wire, fed automatically from a welding torch. This process takes place in the shield of protective gases:
- MIG (Metal Inert Gas) – uses inert gases (e.g. argon, helium), mainly used for welding aluminum and stainless steel.
- MAG (Metal Active Gas) – uses active gases (e.g. CO₂ or Ar+CO₂ compounds), commonly used for carbon and low alloy steel.
The main advantages of MIG/MAG method:
- Speed and efficiency – the wire is fed automatically, which speeds up the work.
- Ease of use – easier to master than e.g. MMA or TIG.
- Clean weld – minimum amount of slag and chipping.
- The possibility of welding thin sheets – ideal for joining elements of small thickness.
- Versatility – various metals and alloys can be welded.
Self-shielded wire welding (FLUX-CORE, FCAW-S)
FLUX (FCAW-S – Flux-Cored Arc Welding Self-Shielded) welding is a method similar to MIG/MAG, but instead of a gas shield it uses a special core wire filled with flux. During welding, flux produces protective gas and slag, protecting the weld from oxidation. Thanks to this, it does not require a gas cylinder, which makes it more mobile and resistant to weather conditions.
The main advantages of the FLUX method:
- No need for protective gas – ideal for outdoor use, even in wind.
- Better penetration than classic MIG/MAG – allows for deeper blending, which increases the strength of the weld.
- The possibility of welding soiled or slightly corroded materials – the sheath helps to remove impurities.
- Good welding performance and speed – especially with thicker materials.
- Mobility and simplicity – no cylinder needed, making it easy to transport and use in the field.
IN THE SET YOU GET EVERYTHING NECESSARY FOR IMMEDIATE WORK:
- automatic visor APS-510 IDEAL - with variable degree of protection DIN 4/9-13, variable lightening time and the ability to set sensor sensitivity. Designed for MIG/MAG and MMA welding and equipped with grinding function.
- gas cylinder 8 liters - Ar+CO2 (mixture) - 8L cylinder filled with argon mixture (82 %) carbon dioxide (18 %) intended for use in welding and industry. The cylinders have 10 years of legalization and meet EN-1964-1 standards and have the Π mark, which allows them to be used in all EU countries. The robust valve cover protects the valve during transport and storage additionally facilitates the transport of the cylinder. Powder coating of cylinders in accordance with PN-EN standards. The small dimensions of the cylinder (height with cap – 76cm, diameter 14cm), make the cylinder well suited for field work. Most reducers available on the market fit into the cylinder.
- welding wire 0,8/5kg - high quality copper welding wire ER70S-6 with a diameter of 0.8mm and a spool weight of 5kg. Made of high-quality steel. Designed for MIG/MAG welding. The wire features a stable electric arc, good stitch appearance and very small splashes. Wrapped on a D200 size plastic spool which is standard fit for most welding machines
- CO2/Ar reducer with 2 pressure gauges - one-stage with two pressure gauges, designed for Argon and CO2 gases. With the help of a reducer, you can smoothly adjust (lower) the working pressure and flow of gas flowing from the cylinder.
- long welding gloves - protective gloves made entirely of cowhide leather
- magnetic angles 2pcs - which will allow precise and durable positioning of the material at an angle of 45, 90 or 135 degrees. It is an indispensable helper during welding or soldering, and at the same time it is cheap and reliable. The product is built of strong, high durability magnets additionally covered with a very resistant plastic shell, in a solid steel housing. It is an invaluable help in welding, assembly of metal elements, soldering, routing
- set of 13 parts for MIG handle - set of spare parts for MIG handle will be used when individual elements wear out or the diameter of the welding wire changes. To ensure the highest possible comfort of work, it is necessary to correctly choose the diameter of the current tip to the diameter of the wire that we intend to work. The offered set of spare parts contains the elements that wear out most often, and thus it is worth stocking up on their stock
- spray anti-spatter ANTI-SPAW - spray in the form of an aerosol is an odorless agent used to protect the nozzle of the burner, tools and the surface of the welded material from melting metal chips during welding with electrical techniques. CONTENTS: 400ml
