MAGNUM MIG 201 ALU PRO is a professional, technologically advanced semi-automatic welding machine designed for welding by:

➡ MIG/MAG:

Arc welding in gas shields (CO2 or Argon+CO2) is one of the most commonly used processes for the production of welded structures. The semi-automatic welding process involves melting the edges of the welded object and the welding material (welding wire on a roll) with an electric arc produced between the welding wire fed by the handle and the welded material.

Available Modes:

• MIG SYN - MIG/MAG welding with synergistic settings,
• MIG MAN - MIG-MAG welding in manual (traditional) mode,
• FLUX / FCAW - self-shielding wire welding. This is a similar welding process as MIG/MAG but does not require a gas cylinder. On the wire there is a thin layer of powder, which at the time of arc formation produces gas covering the working area.

➡ TIG LIFT DC - welding with a non-melting electrode (tungsten) in an inert gas shield (Argon) using an additional handle. In the TIG DC Lift mode, the arc glow occurs when the electrode with the welded element is contacted (the button in the handle does not arc, the gas is connected directly from the reducer to the handle). In TIG Lift DC mode, the current is constant.

• Welding method selection button: SYN, MAN, TIG, MMA,
• Additional parameters selection button, e.g. material and gas shield, for MIG-MAG welding with synergistic settings. The set of available parameters depends on the welding method chosen.
• Knob and button in one. Depending on the welding method chosen, you can adjust the wire feed speed, welding current or change the parameters based on the approximate thickness of the welded element. Pressing the knob with the MIG-MAG method set - wire extension.
• Knob and button in one. For MIG-MAG method regulation or correction of welding current voltage. Pressing the knob with the MIG-MAG method set - test outflow of shielding gas.

✔ SYNERGY - is a very helpful feature available in professional welding equipment class PREMIUM. By setting the appropriate program or entering parameters, the device will independently select most welding settings, such as wire feed speed or appropriate voltage, according to the programmed data.

✔ MANUAL MODE - the ability to manually set the welding machine and make adjustments to synergistic settings (most synergistic welding machines currently available on the Polish market do not have a fully manual mode, and thus it is not possible to manually set the m.in wire feed speed, which is not always in synergy tailored to our needs).

✔ PULS in programs for aluminum - pulsing current welding, in which high and low current are alternately used. This reduces overall heat supply and splatter while providing greater resistance to non-melting. This method can be used to weld both metals with high thermal conductivity and thinner metals without burning them. Additionally, you can get narrower and more penetrating welds on thicker metals.

✔ SOLDERING - The device enables soldering, mainly used in the automotive industry to connect galvanized sheets together without burning the galvanized layer.

✔ INDUCTANCE ADJUSTMENT - function is useful during welding using the MIG/MAG method of thin elements, preventing them from burning out and soldering galvanized elements. Changing the inductance value also reduces the amount of welding chips during CO2 shielded welding. Thanks to the inductance adjustment, the welding machine is suitable for lutowelding. Depending on the model of the welding machine, the adjustment is automatic or can be adjusted manually.

✔ SPOOL GUN CONNECTOR - allows you to connect a special handle with space for an additional spool with wire.

✔ INVERTER TECHNOLOGY IGBT - is a modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an isolated gate. It combines the ease of control of field transistors with high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology has the effect of significantly extending the reliable operation of welding equipment.

✔ EUROCONNECTOR - allows you to quickly change the handle and allows you to change the polarity for welding with self-shielding wire.

✔ TWO-BAR 2T - pressing the button initiates gas outflow and welding current, releasing the button turns off welding current and gas outflow.

✔ FOUR-BAR 4T - pressing and releasing the handle button initiates gas outflow and welding current, re-pressing and releasing the button turns off the welding current and gas outflow.

The welder is equipped with a solid wire feeder, which guarantees stability and continuity of operation of the device.

2-roll feeder allows precise extension of the welding wire excluding its slippage.

The feeder has a quick wire change knob as well as a wire feed roller.

HANDLE WITH EURO CONNECTOR

The welder has a EURO socket for MIG welding wire. The socket allows you to quickly change the handle to the same standard and, most importantly, allows you to change the polarity for welding with FLUX self-shielding wire.
