SNAKE 200I is a light and portable power source. It is used for welding with wrapped electrodes of various steel grades, including ordinary, stainless, heat-resistant and cast iron. Thanks to very small dimensions it will be used in field and repair works.

The main advantage of the Magnum SNAKE 200I welding machine is its small size and weight. The welding machine welds an electrode with a diameter of 4 mm!

In addition, the welding machine can work using the TIG method using a special TIG handle with a valve (TIG LIFT). Arch ignition is carried out by rubbing the non-melting electrode against the welded material.

Types of phases and their application in welding machine MAGNUM SNAKE 200I AL

1 Weld I: For thin sheets, simple joints without chamfering. Fast and economical.

2 Weld 2L: Welding sheet metal to full melt, we take into account the larger diameter between the joined elements.

How to use SNAKE 200I AL, step by step?

1 Connect the welding wires to the appropriate sockets (standard electrode cable plus (+) mass cable minus (-) and turn right until they lock.

2 Connect the bulk cable to the welded material or welding table using the ground clip.

3 Place the electrode in the welding torch.

4 Insert the power cable into the power socket.

5 Turn on the device with the power switch.

6 Set the appropriate welding current value using the current knob.

7 Now you can start welding by following the safety rules.

To avoid splashes and achieve high weld quality, follow the recommendations of the electrode manufacturer regarding welding current, welding position and drying parameters, especially with alkaline and acidic electrodes.

The current size is adjusted so that the arc can be securely lit, and during welding it is even and stable. For example, the electrode "Pink 6012" needs:

• 2,0 mm - 40÷60 A,
• 2,5 mm - 50÷70 A,
• 3,25 mm - 70÷110 A,
• 4,0 mm - 110÷160 A,
• 5,0 mm - 160÷220 A.
