IDEAL

TECNOMIG 224 SYNERGIC LED 4x4 is an inverter synergistic semi-automatic welding machine designed for arc welding using the MIG/MAG, TIG LIFT, MMA and FLUX methods. The device has been designed for a wide range of applications: from maintenance work to car body repairs.

TECNOMIG 224 SYNERGIC LED 4x4 is used for galvanized sheet welding, welding stainless steel, carbon and low alloy steels and aluminum. Welding is carried out in an inert gas, active gas or mixture shield, and with reverse polarity without gas.

By using a 4-roll feeder, the device ensures stable wire feeding so important when welding aluminum and copes very well with 5-meter welding handles.

With the MIG/MAG method, we can choose the button function in the handle between working in 2T mode (without button lock), 4T (button lock for long welds) or spot welding (SPOT)

VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) reduces the output voltage (between the mass and the electrode) to a safe level, protecting against accidental shock in the intervals between weldings. The VRD voltage reduction system provides additional safety for the welder and those in the vicinity, especially in an environment where there is an increased likelihood of electric shock, e.g. hot environment, humid environment, etc.

HOT START (hot start) - a function that makes it much easier to start welding. At the moment of arcing, the welding current is briefly increased. This leads to the heating of the material and electrode at the point of contact, as well as to the proper shape of the melt and the weld face (in the initial phase of the welding process).

The IDEAL TECNO MIG 234 PULSE welding machine is equipped with an advanced 4-roll wire feeder that ensures stability and smooth operation. The professional feeder guarantees precise ejection of the welding wire, eliminating the risk of slipping, which translates into higher welding quality and efficiency.

Lutowelding – Perfect for joining thin sheets covered with a layer of zinc. This method, resembling MIG/MAG welding, uses much less energy, which prevents the base material from melting, focusing on the melting of the solder.

MIG/MAG – Gas-shielded welding

MIG/MAG arc welding is one of the most commonly used processes in industry. Thanks to the gas shield (CO₂ or Argon-CO₂ mixture), this process ensures stable and precise welds. The welding wire is fed automatically, making it easy to control the work. Available modes:

  • MIG SYN – MIG/MAG welding with synergistic settings that automatically select optimal operating parameters.
  • MIG MAN- Welding - MIG/MAG welding with manual settings
  • FLUX/FCAW – Self-shielded wire welding, ideal for working without a gas cylinder. The powder on the wire generates a protective gas, which makes the process resemble MIG/MAG, but without the need for an external gas source.

TIG LIFT DC – Precision welding with non-melting electrode

The TIG LIFT DC method allows for tungsten electrode welding in an argon shield. The arc glow occurs after the electrode contacts the welded element, which provides greater control over the process. In TIG DC Lift mode, the current is constant and the handle is connected directly from the reducer to the gas.

MMA – Classic welding with wrapped electrodes
