▶ ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR MIGRAINES FOR HOME AND WORKSHOP

Bet on versatility with the PRAKTIK MIG 211 SYNERGIC LED. This one device replaces several machines, offering welding by four methods in a wide range of applications – from home workshop to professional car body repairs.

⏩READABLE AND EASY TO USE FUNCTION PANEL

Modern control panel equipped with analog potentiometers and easy-to-read LED display guarantees simple and convenient operation. All the most important welding functions are available immediately, and the mode switch allows you to quickly switch between MMA, TIG Lift and three MIG/MAG synergistic programs - without unnecessary settings and complications.

Analog potentiometers

  • Welding voltage - accurate adjustment of arc voltage, allowing to obtain the right shape and quality of the weld
  • Welding current - smooth adjustment of welding power to the type of material and its thickness

LED display

  • Clear display of current operating parameters
  • Quick recognition of the selected welding mode

Welding method switch - 5 operating modes

  • MMA - traditional welding with a wrapped electrode, working in various conditions
  • TIG (Lift) - precision welding method with tungsten electrode
  • CO₂ / 0.8 - CO₂ MIG/MAG welding, Ø0,8 mm wire, suitable for structural steels
  • MIX / 0.8 - MIG/MAG in gas mixture sheath (CO₂ + Ar), Ø0,8 mm wire, more stable arc and limited chipping
  • FLUX / 1.0 - self-shielding wire Ø1,0 mm, allowing welding without gas, ideal for field work.

⏩ MIG/MAG WELDING

MIG/MAG welding in the PRAKTIK MIG 211 SYNERGIC LED device is carried out using a hot melt electrode in the form of a welding wire and a gas shield, thanks to which the process is stable and widely used in the joining of carbon steels, low-alloy steels and corrosion-resistant steels. The device allows you to work in settings CO2/0.8, MIX/0.8 and FLUX/1.0, which makes it easy to adjust the mode to the type of wire and cover. The user has at his disposal to adjust the parameters using the welding voltage potentiometer, welding current potentiometer and LED display, which allows to adjust the process to the thickness and type of material. In the MIG/MAG method, current, arc voltage, wire feed speed, wire type and diameter, shielding gas and handle guidance technique are important, because they affect the melting, shape and aesthetics of the weld. In practice, it should also be remembered that the PRAKTIK MIG 211 SYNERGIC LED model is not recommended for soldering or welding aluminum.

⏩ TIG DC LIFT WELDING

TIG DC LIFT welding with the PRAKTIK MIG 211 SYNERGIC LED is performed using a touch-start arc ignition method, where the arc is initiated by touching and slightly lifting the tungsten electrode from the material being welded. This process uses DC (Direct Current), allowing for aesthetic and precise welds with good arc control. In this method, the TIG torch is connected to the negative terminal, and the ground clamp to the positive terminal. Shielding gas is supplied directly to the torch with a valve. The LIFT ignition method reduces the risk of electromagnetic interference and ensures a stable start to the welding process. Please note that in this model, the TIG LIFT method operates exclusively in DC mode, therefore it cannot be used for welding aluminum or magnesium.

⏩ FLUX-CORED WIRE WELDING

FLUX-cored wire welding with the PRAKTIK MIG 211 SYNERGIC LED is performed using self-shielded flux-cored wire, eliminating the need for external shielding gas. This solution is particularly useful when working outdoors, in the field, or in areas exposed to drafts where gas shielding could be unstable. This model features a dedicated FLUX/1.0 mode, designed for use with self-shielded wire. Remember that when welding with the FLUX method, a polarity change is required — the MIG torch should be connected to the negative terminal, and the ground clamp to the positive terminal. This process provides good versatility for assembly, repair, and workshop applications.

⏩ MMA (STICK) WELDING

MMA (Stick) welding with the PRAKTIK MIG 211 SYNERGIC LED is performed using the shielded metal arc welding method, where the welding arc is created between a consumable electrode and the material being welded. The process is carried out using DC (Direct Current), and in most cases, the electrode operates with positive polarity (DCEP), although negative polarity (DCEN) is also possible depending on the type of electrode. The welder allows MMA welding in the range of 20–170 A, which allows you to select the working parameters according to the electrode diameter and material thickness to obtain a stable arc and proper penetration. The correct selection of current has a direct impact on the quality of the weld, ease of electrode control, and reduction of the risk of the electrode sticking. The MMA method is particularly useful for assembly, workshop, and repair work, as well as anywhere where the use of shielding gas is difficult.

The 2-roll wire feeder ensures stable and even wire feed during MIG/MAG welding of steel. After using the appropriate rollers and current tip, it is possible to achieve smooth wire feeding and stable operating parameters. The correct configuration of the feeder and proper handling of the handle have a direct impact on the stability of the arc and the quality of the welds.

  • MIG/MAG - welding with a hot melt electrode (in the form of wire wound on a spool) in a gas shield. It is a popular welding process that is characterized by high efficiency and good quality of the welded joint. Semi-automatic MIG/MAG welding is one of the most popular methods both in workshop conditions as well as in high-performance production. This method is also relatively easy to learn by novice users.
  • FCAW (FLUX) - a popular variant of the MAG method - semi-automatic welding with a hot melt electrode (welding wire on a spool). The main difference is that it is welded with a special self-shielding wire, which does not require the use of shielding gas. Simplifying, we can say that this method combines two processes: MAG welding and MMA electrode welding.
  • MMA - the oldest variety of arc welding - the so-called. welding with a wrapped electrode. This is probably the best known and widespread welding method. The type and diameter of the wrapped electrode is selected depending on the type of material being welded.
