IDEAL TECNO MIG 205 LCD is an inverter synergic semi-automatic welding machine designed for arc welding using the following method:
- MIG MAN - MIG-MAG welding in manual (traditional) mode
- MIG SYN - MIG-MAG welding in synergic mode
- MMA - Welding with the use of fusible rutile, basic, acid coated electrodes
- TIG LIFT - Welding using a special handle with a valve, the arc is then ignited by lightly rubbing the non-melting electrode against the welded material.
- FLUX / FCAW - Welding with self-shielding wire
as well as BRAZING OF GALVANIZED SHEETS.

☀ ATC - is an advanced thermal control function, active when welding thin materials up to 1.5 mm thick. The ATC function stabilizes the electric arc and reduces the peak value of the welding current, reducing the amount of heat transferred to the material. As a result, it significantly facilitates the welding of thin elements and results in less material deformation, less overheating and a narrow heat affected zone.
Quick synergic adjustment of welding parameters via LCD display makes the device very easy to use. All you have to do is set the thickness of the material to be welded and start welding: the intelligent and automatic welding arc control system, step by step, will select the best parameters for each welding position and for each material.
The user can also manually set the length of the welding arc and adjust the appearance of the weld to his own needs.
The LCD display enables precise adjustment of welding parameters such as:

Gas-shielded arc welding is one of the most widely used processes for the production of welded structures. The semi-automatic welding process consists in fusing the edges of the welded object and the material of the consumable electrode with the heat of an electric arc glowing between the electrode in the form of a solid wire and the welded detail, in an inert or active gas shield.

in the MMA method, a coated electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with a coating. An electric arc is generated between the end of the electrode and the material to be welded. The arc is ignited by touching the tip of the electrode to the workpiece.
✔ TIG DC welding
In the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) method, the electric arc is ignited in a shield of inert gas (argon), between the welded element and a non-consumable electrode made of pure tungsten or tungsten with additives. In the TIG DC Lift mode, the arc is ignited when the electrode contacts the workpiece. In TIG DC mode, the current is constant.

The welder has a EURO socket for the MIG welding cable. The socket allows you to quickly change the handle in the same standard and, most importantly, it allows you to change the polarity for welding with FLUX self-shielding wire.

THE POWER SOURCE HAS BEEN BUILT ON THE BASIS OF IGBT TRANSISTORS
IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) , which ensure minimum electromagnetic interference, low power losses in basic systems, allowing to increase the efficiency and reliability of the power source. Very high efficiency , which translates directly into lower energy consumption, and high switching frequency, ensure instant adjustment of the current to changes in parameters during welding.
Inductance adjustment allows you to optimize the arc characteristics depending on the thickness of the welded element and the welding method and conditions.
The function is useful during MIG/MAG welding of thin elements, preventing their burn-through and braze welding of galvanized elements.
The thinner the MIG/MAG welded element, the higher the inductance should be (soft arc - less penetration), for thick elements the opposite (hard arc - greater penetration).
The standard neutral inductance setting is in the middle of the scale.
Changing the inductance value also reduces the amount of welding spatter during welding in the CO2 shield.
The optimal setting of the inductance value depends on several factors and may differ from the standard recommendations, it should be selected during welding tests by manipulating the potentiometer knob.
