CONTRAMIG 220 was built on the basis of inverter technology. This solution provides small dimensions, lower energy consumption, trouble-free operation and good arc characteristics. Stable output parameters guarantee good weld quality in all available methods.

The welding machine enables welding using the following methods: MIG/MAG - semi-automatic welding in gas shielding, FLUX - semi-automatic welding with self-shielding wire without gas, MMA - welding with wrapped electrode. The FCAW method is arc welding with core wire (powder). • MIG/MAG is a popular process both in hobby applications and in industry. It consists in welding with a hot melt electrode (in the form of wire wound on a spool) in a gas shield. The advantages of semi-automatic MIG/MAG welding include: ease of mastering the method at the basic level, high welding efficiency, high quality of the resulting weld.

• MMA - this is probably the best known and widespread welding method. The type and diameter of the wrapped electrode is selected depending on the type of material being welded. The MMA method does not require shielding gases. Welding is carried out using an electrode in a special sheath, which under the influence of the heat of the welding arc melts to form a weld. Melting sheath provides protection for the welding lake.

• TIG Lift - a method of arcing by rubbing (similarly to the electrode in the MMA method).

• SYNERGY - By setting the appropriate program or entering parameters, the device will independently select most welding settings, such as wire feed speed or appropriate voltage, according to the programmed data.
