IBDerma Hyposens is a dietary, gluten-free and complete food for sensitive dogs with goat meat containing a protected herbal complex IBD. It contains 40-45% meat in dry granules.

LupoVet IBDerma-Hyposens with a protected purely herbal complex IBD is a dietary and complete dog food that reduces intolerance to nutrients, especially in cases of recurrent, chronic inflammation of the intestines (also bloody and mucous feces) with IBD (non-specific intestinal inflammation). It is ideal for a practical and balanced exclusion (elimination) diet for dogs with sensitive digestive systems and/or dermatological problems. In addition, it has been proven to be an ideal base for controlling reflux/heartburn in dogs (so-called. IGOR).

For additional protection of the gastric mucosa or in the case of dogs with severe reflux LupoVet IBDerma-Hyposens, we recommend combining with IGOReflux Intense, a supplement that improves digestion and protects the digestive tract from excessive acidification of the stomach.

IBDerma Hyposens food is a fully complete food, ideal both for sick dogs with gastrointestinal and skin problems, but also for healthy dogs – prophylactically as a complete and gluten-free, healthy food, enriched with a complex protecting the stomach and intestines. Due to the low content of sugars and starches, IBDerma-Hyposens is also recommended for canine diabetics.

Just like any of our food, IBDerma Hyposens is also suitable for puppies and pregnant females.

Due to its dietary properties and the importance of gastroentero-dermatological food LupoVet IBDerma-Hyposens contains low-processed,completely “exotic” complex proteins and carbohydrates,processed in the least possible way, while ensuring thatthat no other sources of nutrients will be used,from those listed in the composition, in particular due to the accompanying therapeutic needs of our consumers.

Our food contains L-tryptophan, which is an essential building material of serotonin “happiness hormone” in brain metabolism, which consequently causes balance and thus reduces persistent anxiety, aggressiveness, phobias and anxiety in the dog. Manioc flour, although low in L-tryptophan, in itself facilitates the transition of L-tryptophan to the brain by increasing insulin secretion. Patients with IBD and/or IGOR have been shown to show increased uncertainty, anxiety, phobias, and even marked aggression. Recent scientific studies prove the beneficial effects of L-tryptophan reaching the brain. All the more so, it is a valuable source in IBDerma Hyposens (about 0,3% according to the LUFA 6/2015 periodic test). The low level of L-tryptophan content in cereals in general, including rice and maize, but also in cassava flour (which is gluten-free) is compensated by the optimal content, e.g. valuable marine fish.

In the intestine of patients with IBD and/or IGOR, the content of tryptophan-forming bacteria is reduced and most likely also provides better growth conditions for so common giardias (microscopic single-celled parasites).

In order to improve the microbiome as a whole, in addition to IBDerma Hyposens, a separate administration of Inu-Tryptophan may also be recommended.

IBDerma Hyposens is available in packs of 1,5kg, 5kg and 14kg as a grain-free and gluten-free dietary food.

In our delicate final production process, a maximum of 38°C is achieved.

The feeding period for dietary feed, including IBDerma Hyposens, is 3-8 weeks within the meaning of the feed law. If signs of intolerance disappear, this feed may initially be used for up to one year in accordance with EU Directive VO (EU) 2020/354. Consultation with a veterinarian is recommended before use or before extending the period of use.

IBDerma Hyposens also cannot alleviate skin symptoms that may indicate an allergy, but when in fact they are not, as this can lead to the spread of the disease causing such symptoms, so consultation with such patients is necessary.

Dimensions of granules: about 1,4 cm wide; 0,5-0,6 cm thick and 0,5-2,5 cm long. They are ideal for smaller and larger breeds.

Note: our food has a minimum shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture, however, if stored below 21°C and 55% relative humidity!

Given that we do not use preservatives in our products, they are at risk of spoilage as natural products. In the current climate, improper storage, due to the possibility of mold, can be problematic, especially in the summer months. Therefore, we strongly recommend that our customers do not store our advanced products for longer than before (i.e. maximum 6 months for a closed bag and 2 months for an open bag). The exception is to freeze the entire portion of food or absolutely comply with the requirements (< 55% relative humidity and < 21°C) that we guarantee in our warehouse.

In addition, you must follow the usual storage instructions, i.e. immediately inspect the goods, remove them from the transport carton and ensure good ventilation at temperatures below 21°C and relative humidity of 55%. This method of storage ensures that our food will not spoil and will not nest in it mites or mold.

Feeding

Generally, the approximate value for an adult dog is about 1,2% of body weight per day (120 g of food / 10 kg of body weight). However, the amount of food you need varies depending on your dog’s breed, age, and activity. For puppies / young dogs, the amount of food is up to 2,8% or 2,5% of body weight, up to the expected calculated amount of food for an adult dog (see table below).

For nutritional and physiological reasons, it is generally recommended to pour a portion of food in a bowl with two or three times the amount of warm (not boiling) water or broth, and then immediately administer it (in the form of soup with an “insert”).

Be sure to give your pet access to fresh water!

Therefore, we recommend that you weigh the daily portion of food in the morning and occasionally feed it with pieces in the form of snacks from your hand. In dogs that should lose weight, instead of the current body weight, the target weight should be taken as the basis for calculations and reduce the amount of food to 0,8 – 1% of the target body weight, enriching it with a portion of fresh vegetables or steamed. Thanks to this, the amount of food by volume will be significantly larger. As delicacies we recommend, for example. pieces of apple.

Tip: At the beginning, give LupoVet food from your hand in the form of treats (in the amount corresponding to the one that was subtracted from one food ration during the day), up to the amount that will correspond to the entire one meal. Then, another – replace the morning meal with a new food, and if it is well tolerated, replace it completely. Even if you have previously cooked or fed your dog BARF, we recommend that you first replace breakfast with LupoVet and give her individual granules in the form of treats throughout the day so as to change it completely within 2-5 days.
