EUKANUBA Veterinary Diets Intestinal for dogs helps to take care of the digestive tract thanks to the use of very easily digestible ingredients, low fat levels and a special blend of fiber.

Dry dog food from the EUKANUBA Veterinary Diets Intestinal series relieves acute absorption disorders because it complements improper digestion, including chronic pancreatic failure. Intestinal foods are also used to regulate lipid (fat) metabolism in cases of hyperlipidemia (high levels of fats in the blood). The composition includes mannanoligosaccharides (MOS), which bind potentially pathogenic bacteria, preventing them from sticking to the intestinal walls and causing safe excretion in the faeces. The food also contains beet pulp. This moderately fermented fiber produces buttery, short-chain fatty acid (SCFA), serving as a preferential energy source for enterocytes. This ingredient supports gut health and helps restore the optimal consistency of stool. The overall low level of fat reduces the load on the pancreas and thus supports digestive functions that can be impaired by gastrointestinal disorders. This composition also reduces the risk of fatty diarrhea. In turn, a specially selected ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3 fatty acids controls inflammation at the cellular level. Recommended duration of use: alleviation of acute intestinal absorption disorders: up to 12 weeks; compensation of abnormal digestion: initially up to 12 weeks and throughout life in case of chronic pancreatic failure; regulation of lipid metabolism in case of hyperlipidemia: initially up to 2 months. The animal must have constant access to water.
