Complete dietary, highly digestible food for dogs with symptoms of digestive disorders and intestinal absorption and gastric inflammation. It contains easily digestible ingredients and an increased amount of electrolytes that compensatę for losses resulting from impaired digestion process. After consulting a veterinarian, it can be used in conditions of chronic pancreatic insufficiency. Duration of the veterinary diet:

in the course of acute diarrhea and during convalescence: 1 to 2 weeks; compensation of deficiencies caused by poor absorption: 3 – 12 weeks, however, in the case of chronic pancreatic insufficiency, it is recommended to use throughout the life of the dog; consultation with a veterinarian is recommended before use.

• Food based on raw materials of animal origin (turkey and salmon) characterized by a high content of wholesome protein with a high limiting amino acid coefficient and a very beneficial composition of fatty acids. In addition, the production process is conducive to maintaining the basic requirement in the case of veterinary diets in order to improve digestion processes, which is digestibility.
• The potato starch contained in the GASTRO Intestinal diet, which is a source of amylopectins, provides the necessary energy components to increase the efficiency of nutrient absorption.
• The addition of salmon oil together with flaxseed oil increases the pool of essential fatty acids.
• The addition of DL-methionine increases the competitiveness of the absorption of branched chain amino acids: leucine, isoleucine and valine, thus increasing the pool of amino acids involved in the regeneration of body tissues, including enterocytes
• The presence of mannooligosaccharides and beta-glucans, on the one hand, stimulates the response of immune cells located in clusters of lymphoid tissue of the gastrointestinal wall, making the gastrointestinal tract more resistant to environmental factors, but also affects the profile of the microbiota living in the gastrointestinal tract, providing the right conditions for the regeneration of enterocytes.
• Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast enriched with selenium provides this important mineral for the functioning.
• Psyllium seeds including Mojave yucca affect intestinal peristalsis without disturbing the digestion and absorption of nutrients.
