How to measure a dog?

Measure your dog’s neck circumference with a tailor’s measure at its widest point and make sure it’s neither too loose nor too tight – see if you can put two fingers under it. If you do not have a tailor's measure, use ordinary thread or string and transfer the dimensions to a ruler.

In any size, the collars have an adjustment range. If your dog’s neck is between two sizes, we suggest choosing a larger size. Adjustment range does not include clamp strap

Hauki® products are hand-sewn in Poland. Remember that it is 100% handmade, so it is worth considering the size tolerance +/- 2cm.

Comfort of use

The semi-clamp collar is worn only by the dog's head, which is why the owners of long-haired pets particularly liked it as an alternative to the classic collar with a buckle, for which hair was a common problem.

Safety for Combinators

Even if your dog is more capable than Houdini, he will not get out of the semi-clamp collar. The clamp gently increases when the dog pulls firmly on the leash. Remember that the semi-clamp collar is not used to suffocate the dog! Under the clamped collar should fit two fingers so that the dog can always walk comfortably and safely.
