The muzzle is made of a unique material that allows you to change the shape of the muzzle. It only takes 2 minutes in hot water to fit it into your dog's muzzle.

This muzzle model is designed so that it can be adapted to dogs with a flat muzzle. These are such breeds as pug, Pekingese or shih tzu.

The muzzle has aphysiological shape, making suitable for daily walks. The dog can breathe, breathe, drink, eat treats and even sleep in it. Removable cover while prevents eating waste, garbage.

✅ How to properly measure a dog’s mouth before choosing a muzzle?

To choose the right muzzle, take the following measurements with a soft tailor's centimeter when the dog stands still:

1. The length of the muzzle –measure from the tip of the nose to the point between the eyes (to the base of the muzzle).

2. The circumference of the muzzle –measure around the muzzle at its widest point, approx. 1,5 cm below the eyes (depending on the breed of dog).

❗ For your dog’s comfort, add 1 to 2 cm of slack to this dimension.

3. Neck circumference (behind the ears) – measure the circumference just behind the ears, where the muzzle strap will lie.

4. The height of the muzzle (optional) – measure from the lower part of the jaw to the base of the muzzle (top of the nose), if the manufacturer requires it.

✴ Tip: The dog should be able to open his mouth freely and breathe – do not choose a muzzle “at the contact”.

Remember also so that the muzzle is not too loose, this can lead to its falling, which will reduce or limit the effectiveness of using the muzzle!

ACCUSTOMING THE DOG TO MUZZLE

The introduction of muzzle for the dog should be carried out gradually, with patience and a positive approach. Do not expect the dog to immediately accept a new item, so it is worth planning the process of getting acquainted for a few weeks.

At first, place the treat on your hand and let the dog reach for it through a muzzle to tie it to something pleasant. Repeat this until the dog feels comfortable enough to allow the muzzle straps to be fastened. The next step is to put on a muzzle for a short time, gradually extending the wearing period. Remember not to overtire the dog – wearing a muzzle too long at first can make the dog resistant to this element. The whole process should be carried out in a calm atmosphere, so that the dog gradually gets used to the muzzle and associates it with positive experiences.
