Halter Amiplay Basic is a popular product used by thousands of dog owners. It is made of durable and flexible polypropylene tape, which does not rub or vaporize the dog. This makes it easier to control the dog during a walk. The strap lying on the dog's mouth has been additionally lined with a high-quality sponge to provide even greater comfort and safety. The minimalist design is unobtrusive, and the rich colors match other accessories and all coat colors.

Large adjustment range of the cervical part allows for a good fit to the dog. Halter is inserted through the dog's head and the leash is attached to the circle under the lower jaw. Strong steel wheels for attaching the leash and limiting the clamp ensure smooth operation of the collar and safety in any situation.

Halter is a training harness covering the dog's mouth and neck. It helps in guiding an animal that is prone to tugging, pulling, violently straying from the road. It does not act on the principle of direct coercion or violence, but uses the dog’s natural tendency to move towards looking. It does not incapacitate or restrict the dog's movements but allows the guide to communicate efficiently with the charge. Thanks to it, the guide can correct the dog's behavior when necessary and the dog learns new habits.

How to Match Halter

Halter should not adhere too tightly so as not to cause excessive discomfort to the dog. Make sure the size you choose will fit your dog's mouth circumference - this loop is not adjustable and cannot compress so as not to hinder your dog from breathing or drinking. Halter’s action is based on the dog’s natural behavior - when the dog pulls on a leash, he turns his head towards the owner, preventing improper behavior. The collar has a limiter in the form of a circle, preventing excessive tightening of the loop on the muzzle.

The Amiplay Halter Basic training collar is an excellent choice for daily walks with your dog. It is especially recommended for dogs that tend to pull on a leash and strong, especially when they are led out by someone with less strength or fitness (e.g. elderly people).

How to Measure a Dog

To choose the right size, measure with a soft measure the circumference of the muzzle - measurement A and the circumference of the dog's neck (in the place where he wears the collar) - measurement B, as in the figure above. Then add a few centimeters of stock so that the collar is not too tight and compare the measurement with the size chart. Some sizes coincide - in this case, decide on the width of the tape. Consider the size of the dog, as well as its temperament - the larger and more energetic the dog is, the larger the size should be chosen.

How to use Halter

Halter is a training tool, facilitating daily walks with the dog. To ensure optimal performance, the halter should be used with a regular leash (for example, another from the amiplay Basic series), and not a cushioned or stretched leash (flexi type). Halter does not work on the principle of coercion or punishment - do not tug on the leash attached to it - but urges the dog to follow in the direction we choose. For safety and convenience, it is recommended to combine a halter training collar with a classic collar.
