The amiplay Basic semi-clamp collar is an excellent choice for daily walks with your dog. It is especially recommended for those dogs that easily release from the usual buckle collar - skittish, stubborn, long-haired or those with a wide neck.

To choose the right size, measure the circumference of the dog's neck with a soft measuring cup (in the place where he wears the collar) - measurement B, as shown above. Then compare the measurement with the size chart. Some sizes coincide - in this case, decide on the width of the tape. Consider the size of the dog, as well as its temperament - the larger and more energetic the dog is, the larger the size should be chosen.

How to fit a semi-clamp collar?

The semi-clamp collar should be adjusted so that in the tightest setting it fits tightly to the dog's neck without suffocating it. In turn, in the widest setting, should not interfere with the dog's movement. The collar does not have a clasp, it is put on by the dog's head. When the dog walks freely, the collar spontaneously relaxes - when the dog pulls on a leash, the collar tightens. The collar has a limiter in the form of a circle, preventing excessive tightening of the collar.

Large adjustment range allows for a good fit to the dog. The semi-clamp collar is inserted through the dog's head, and the leash is attached to the circle shown in the illustration. Strong steel wheels for attaching the leash and limiting the clamp, ensure smooth operation of the collar and safety in any situation.
