Lyngdorf TDAI-3400
Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 is the most powerful and versatile product in the Lyngdorf Audio range, combining the functions of an amplifier, audio processor, player and advanced acoustic correction technology RoomPerfect™.
Integrated amplifier, audio processor, player and RoomPerfect™
With advanced audio processing capabilities, a digital amplifier and a built-in network player, the Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 stands out as the most advanced Lyngdorf Audio product on the market.
Excellent sound quality in an optimized room
The web interface, dedicated application and device menu allow easy operation and precise adjustment of sound settings. The digital crossover allows for three individual output settings, and the RoomPerfect™ system eliminates the negative impact of room acoustics on sound quality, delivering a perfect listening experience without the need for costly spatial adaptations.
RoomPerfect™ – the highest quality of room calibration
In typical sound systems, more than 50% of the sound received comes not from speakers, but from the listening room. RoomPerfect™ is a state-of-the-art acoustic correction system that adjusts the amplifier parameters to reproduce the sound of the speakers as intended by the manufacturer, regardless of the acoustics of the interior.
The RoomPerfect™ system is built into the Lyngdorf TDAI-3400, as well as other models such as the TDAI-1120 and the Lyngdorf MP-40 and MP-60 processors. A set of calibration accessories, including a microphone and tripod, is included with the device.

"(...)The functionality of this device is simply impressive! At the same time, the operation is really intuitively simple. The sound? Everything's fine. It is difficult to describe them, because thanks to the RoomPerfect system, filters and frequency correction capabilities, we can shape the sound almost like plasticine. So it can be completely neutral, either warm or cool. Whatever we want. Sophisticated scene. Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 is a response to the needs of all those who are tired of flipping more blocks in search of an ideal (which, by the way, does not exist). And for those who have been loathed by audiophile altars with several devices and a tangle of cables. Everything is in one simple, solid and aesthetic housing, and the possibilities offered by this device are enormous. At the same time, the multitude of functions does not scare, because the operation is really intuitively simple. What about the sound? Everything's fine. It is difficult to describe it in a nutshell, because thanks to the RoomPerfect system, filters and frequency correction capabilities, we can shape the sound almost like plasticine. So it can be completely neutral if we do not enter any settings, or warm and soft. And if we want to harden them and give it shine – we will do it easily. Really worth a try. This could be the end of the search. (...)"
Award of the decade 2013-2023 Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 - StereoLife Portal
Twenty years ago, Peter Lyngdorf created an amplifier straight from the future. Millennium was so far ahead of its time that not everyone understood the benefits digital technology can bring in such an extreme, hi-end form. Only today it becomes obvious, as evidenced by TDAI-3400. The "digital" amplifier itself is not something extremely sexy. Not for audiophiles accustomed to the sound of classic transistor and tube designs. Lower energy consumption will not convince them. However, if we combine an innovative system designed by one of the largest experts in the field with an acoustic correction system, network connectivity, the ability to play hi-res files, compatibility with various streaming services, numerous digital inputs, the ability to manage the amplifier from the browser, optional modules with additional sockets, really noble sound and the possibility of its further improvement by straightening some minuses of loudspeakers and listening room,It's a whole other conversation. After a few days in the company of this amplifier, it is difficult to get rid of thoughts, most other constructions are technology from the last century, repackaged time and time again into nicer housings and sold at increasingly higher prices. Lyngdorf is also not cheap, but its price can be justified by extensive functionality, versatility, high quality of workmanship and solutions that are not available to competitors. And it is not about wooden ornaments and transformers wound in the moonlight, but about technology whose operation can be clearly heard. I wonder if in twenty years other manufacturers will be able to start a fight with Lyngdorf, or if most of them will continue to powder their passivity with stories about carefully selected components and rhodium-plated nests. "Before I get to today's test hero, I would like to share with you some thoughts. Until recently, the word “digital” amplifier did not arouse much interest, rather it was treated as an attempt to go in a completely different direction – something too innovative in the world of traditional audio. Of course, the above sentence is my subjective feeling, although perhaps it is in reality? Today I would like to present an integrated amplifier with TDAI-3400 network functions from Lyngdorf equipped with automatic room correction RoomPerfect. After performing automatic room correction, we can very easily switch between different amplifier settings, choose the sound source, type of correction, turn the correction on or off, use Spotify, Internet radio or home music server. The entire menu of the amplifier is given “on a tray” in an easy and very thoughtful way. Important information - it takes some time to go through the entire process of automatic calibration, microphone installation or amplifier settings and this is a task for patient people. So if you are patient, you can calmly move on to the next sentence, but if you lack patience in setting up your equipment, you do not like any technical innovations or extended functions - this time be sure to change your approach to the audio world. Anyone who invests their time and goes through the whole process of configuration and correction will receive a unique reward in the form of extraordinary sound beauty, not adding anything from each other and showing the sound that was recorded during the creation of the disc. Full, balanced, based on an amazing ability to present a sound close to the one we consider neutral. (...)"

"(...)I started the test of the device with a standard connection, without using the RoomPerfect function. Watching the advertising prospectuses, we will see that next to the tested amplifier, small speakers of the same brand are shown. Thinking that this amplifier is mostly working/should work with small/medium sized speakers would be completely wrong. This amplifier perfectly copes with virtually any structures available on the market, including those with high requirements (as well as size), which has also been checked by us. However, we decided to use our favorite KEF stand monitors for the tests themselves, which recently also served bravely in several other tests with amplifiers, whose power and design (as well as price) indicated the generally accepted High End. However, let’s go back to our hero and his sound capabilities in combination with the KEF LS50 speakers and the Tellurium Q Ultra Black speaker cable. Without the RoomPerfect correction mentioned above (about it is spreading in a moment), the amplifier sounded correct, but the best was just ahead of me. All the fun began when the microphone and automatic room correction system entered the game - yes, yes, this is our RoomPerfect. As I described earlier, together with the amplifier we get a microphone, tripod and a sufficient length cable with a 3,5 mm jack adapter. The above accessories are used by the amplifier to “know” the environment in which we will play music. After assembling the tripod, installing the microphone and connecting to the microphone input on the front of the device, the “learning” process opens up for us. The information displayed on the display of the device guides us through the next steps, which are aimed at acoustic correction of the listening room and speaker system. The whole process, each time the microphone is moved to a different place of the listening room, informs us (percentage) to what extent he “knows” the acoustic environment of the room in which he found himself. In my case, to obtain 100% knowledge of the device, the microphone changed its place 9 times. (...)"

"(...)Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 is a fully self-contained device, whose basic advantages are the same as in the case of a cheaper model: namely: excellently effective (here even better working) RoomPerfect correction, easy operation and very neutral sound, which can be largely adapted to individual needs and room acoustics. The ability to redirect bass to active subwoofers with advanced bandwidth filtration shaping tools is unheard of by competitors. Compared to the cheaper model, we also get a refined Roon Ready certified streaming player module, which closes the issue of building a high-end system – apart, of course, from the choice of speaker sets, which can be quite flexible. Nevertheless, it is worth putting live and expressive sounding speakers, avoiding those overly neutral. In a purely subjective perception, it is by no means an amplifier that enchants with musicality and expression, but its technical and functional advantages and general development are what prompts us to give recommendations. It is also one of those (increasingly appearing) amplifiers, which makes it necessary to extend the previously used scoring, which we hereby do. (...)"
Review of Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 - Audio Magazine
"(...)The Lyngdorf amplifiers (and earlier Tact) have always been considered neutral and accurate sounding devices. What for some was an obvious advantage, even the end of the search for the amplifier closest to the ideal, others did not quite "ly". This, in turn, was not always due to personal experience and learning about the real possibilities of Lyngdorfs, but to prejudice against digital amplifiers, of which they have become synonymous. In the nearly 20 years since the appearance of the Millennium, a lot has happened, but beliefs have their inertia, anecdotes live their own lives, so when I visit the distributor of the Lyngdorf brand, I still hear complaints about audiophiles who supposedly hear the Danish technical amplifiers cold in the sound. The answer (as it follows, ineffective) is advice to: "take the heat of the playing disc, it will be a warm sound". Each side is right here... but Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 is waiting. And it plays just as it should, as I expected from it. And I am one of those who have really heard of Lyngdorfs before, not heard of them. Nevertheless, I must admit that this is not a sound that will fascinate everyone. Perhaps even a few... And on the other hand, it is a sound that brings long-distance satisfaction, calmness and solace. It's not in his "polite" character, which isn't like that at all,but in such a relationship of its characteristics and properties of our hearing, which causes the assessment to increase over a longer period of time, while the more some device "throws on its knees" in the first moments,The more our knees hurt... From the Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 amplifier I heard music served easily, obvious, emotionally communicative, informatively readable. No ecstasy, attention-absorbing analytics, let alone the introduction of a specific climate by the amplifier itself. (...)"

Millennium was so far ahead of its time that not everyone understood the benefits digital technology can bring in such an extreme, hi-end form. I have the impression that only today it becomes obvious, as evidenced by TDAI-3400. The amplifier itself working in class D is not something extremely sexy. Certainly not for audiophiles accustomed to the sound of classic transistor and tube constructions. TDAI-3400 is an extremely modern all-in-one system, which only needs adequately good speaker sets to be happy. I know that not everyone will be convinced, because many people like the sound of lamps and turntables. But after a few days in the company of this amplifier, it is difficult for me to get rid of my thoughts, most of the other constructions are technology from the last century, repackaged time and time again into nicer housings and sold at increasingly high prices.
