The Shure MV88+ Stereo USB Mic is a compact condenser microphone in a stereo configuration, designed for versatile use – both in mobile recordings and at work at the desk. Thanks to the metal housing and small dimensions (27 x 27 x 77 mm) with a weight of only 79 g, the device is easy to take with you anywhere, without sacrificing the quality of recorded sound.

At the heart of the microphone’s configuration capabilities is the ShurePlus MOTIV app, available in both mobile and desktop versions. Through it, the user can independently adjust the operating parameters of the device – adjust the EQ correction, set the listening balance, turn on the limiter or compressor, as well as choose from four recording modes: mono, stereo, bidirectional and raw mid-side. For those who prefer quick settings without going into details, there are 5 preset DSP modes that allow you to adjust the sound to your specific recording situation with a single click.

The built-in headphone output allows you to directly listen to the signal in real time, which is especially useful during interviews, podcasts or field recordings. The microphone covers the full audible band – from 20 to 20 000 Hz – and the maximum sound pressure level of 120 dB SPL ensures that it can handle even louder environments without the risk of overdrive.

The connection to the device is via a Micro-USB connector, and the set includes two cables with a length of 3 m each - Micro-USB to USB-A and Micro-USB to USB-C - which ensures compatibility with both older computers and newer devices. The set is complemented by a 5/8" rotating microphone holder, a windscreen, and a carrying case.
