DJI RS 4 Mini uses the automatic axle locks known from the flagship DJI products, which automatically release when the device is started and lock when switched off or in sleep mode. Folding design allows for hassle-free storage – just press the button to prepare the device for portability. What’s more, from the entire RS series, it is this model that offers the fastest transition to vertical mode – it takes only 10 seconds to change orientation. Thanks to this, it works well when creating content for mobile platforms, such as Instagram or TikTok.

Precise balancing

Installation of the camera and its proper balance are often a challenge, which is why the DJI RS 4 Mini has been equipped with Teflon coating, which minimizes friction and allows smooth movement of elements. The additional knob on the tilt axis allows for precise adjustment of the position back and forth, allowing you to adjust the position of the device. The top quick mount plate is equipped with three positioning sockets, which allow you to adjust the setting depending on the camera model. The applied solution also accelerates the reattachment of the device on the gimbal.

There is also no need to connect additional wires. The zoom control option allows you to adjust the Power Zoom in PZ or Clear Image Zoom lenses using a joystick. After the first setup, the connection between devices is established automatically with each subsequent use, so you do not have to repeat the entire process.

Ease of use

The touch screen has been optimized for ease of use – readable icons and clear messages inform about the current state of operation of the gimbal. Ergonomic knob located on the front panel allows you to easily modify selected settings. If necessary, you can also lock the panel to eliminate the risk of unwanted touches and extend the life of the device. When this feature is activated, only the current gimbal and joystick modes remain on the screen, and the screen brightness is automatically reduced.
