MOLUSCOCIDE in the form of granules – ready-to-use bait (RB), designed to combat naked and corrupted snails in the cultivation of plants in home and allotment gardens.

Thanks to a specially selected bait, it effectively attracts snails and is eagerly eaten by them. The mechanism of action of the active substance of the agent – iron pyrophosphate, consists in reducing mucus secretion by snails. The agent immediately inhibits the feeding of snails on crops – after just one consumption of the agent, pests lose their appetite and stop damaging plants.

After consuming the granules, snails usually hide in the soil/substrate where they die, so that no mucus and dead snails can be seen in the protected area. Therefore, the effects of the measure may not be immediately visible and the effectiveness of the measure should be measured indirectly – with a smaller amount of damage caused by pests. The agent contains an active substance that is broken down into phosphate ions and iron ions, which naturally occur in the soil.

Method of use

Spread the agent evenly using an applicator for granulated plant protection products.

PRECAUTIONS, WITHDRAWAL PERIODS AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF USE

Period from the last application of the product to the date of harvest of the crop (withdrawal period):

not required

1. The product contains the active substance of the low risk group (low risk substances).

2. Before applying the agent to dry soil, it is advisable to slightly hydrate it (moist granules become even more attractive to snails).

3. Before applying to clumped soil, it is recommended to smooth it so that the granules do not disappear into the crevices and are easily accessible to snails.

4. The best effects of combating are obtained using the agent in the afternoon and evening.

5. It is recommended to re-scatter the agent when the granules are fully consumed by pests.

PRECAUTIONS FOR THOSE USING THE MEASURE

Do not eat, drink or smoke while using the product.

Wear protective gloves (nitrile).

Period from the application of the measure to the date on which humans may enter the area where the measure is applied and animals may be introduced (prevention period):

not required.

PRECAUTIONS RELATED TO ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Do not contaminate water with a plant protection product or its packaging. Do not wash apparatus near surface water. Avoid water pollution through drainage ditches from farms and roads.

Avoid inconsistent release into the environment.

CONDITIONS FOR STORAGE AND SAFE DISPOSAL OF THE PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT AND PACKAGING

Protect from children.

Keep the plant protection product:

- in original packaging,

- in such a way as to prevent contact with food, beverages or feed, contamination of the environment and access by third parties,

- at temp. 0oC - 30oC.

It is prohibited to use empty packaging of plant protection products for other purposes.

Transfer the unused fund to the entity authorized to collect waste.

Empty packaging in the middle is recommended to be returned to the seller of plant protection products or can be treated as municipal waste. If you have any doubts about the handling of packaging, please advise the seller of plant protection products.
