The SJCAM SJ5000X Elite sports camera is a new, improved version of the previous generation camera. It runs on a proven and robust Novatek 96660 chipset, which also worked in the SJ4000Plus and SJ10Plus versions. It will allow us to record video with 4K resolution (2880 x 2160) at 24 fps and 2K (2560 x 1440) while maintaining 30 frames per second. On the other hand, the image in Full HD (1920 x 1080) will be saved at 60 frames per second. SJCAM SJ5000X Elite saves video in mp4 format.

A key feature of the new SJCAM model is the built-in WiFi module. When paired with the SJCAM HD app, available for Android and Apple iOS, it allows for live viewing from the camera and browsing of recordings and photos stored on the memory card. The SJCAM HD app also lets you change all camera settings without directly operating the camera or removing it from its waterproof case.
Activate automatic video recording and loop recording functions. Connect it to your car accessories to turn it into a car DVR. The camera automatically turns on to record when the car starts.
