HM62X is the latest series of hand-reinforced spinning and casting rods by DRAGON
On the basis of state-of-the-art nanographite mats from one of the world’s largest manufacturers, based on X-Cross NGT technology, one- and two-piece blanks were created, technologically ahead of the products of each of the competing brands. The precision of the manufacturing process is so improbable that even the most delicate models in the series, with a very small blank diameter, are not sanded before varnishing. Elasticity, power, casting properties, signal transmission, weight - all these features put the new Dragon series first among the best spinning and casting rods.
The three main benefits that the X-Cross NGT gives the rod user are:
- increase in the strength of the blank against longitudinal static (about 30%) and dynamic (about 20%),
- increased resistance to the so-called. external mechanical injuries,
- changing the action of the rod in the progressive direction (more smooth behavior of the rod during the fish lobby and better casting properties).
The following nanographite mats are used in the HM62X blanks:
- nanographite with a stiffness of 62 million PSI as the basic material of the entire structure
- graphites 30 and 42 million PSI in the core of the blank and partly in layers arranged diagonally to the axis of the rod.
The finishing components of the DRAGON HM62X series are:
- Fuji Alconite K-Series guides,
- Fuji TVS and PTS reel seat,
- specially designed 3K wooven graphite insert,
- Portuguese AAA class cork (Extra Premium),
- Gudebrod's ottomans,
- Trondak lacquers.
