D.A.M. is one of the oldest brands in the fishing industry. This German equipment manufacturer has been operating since 1875, so it can boast of nearly 150 years of history. The company was founded by two brothers – Oskar and Fitz Ziegenspeck – who from the beginning focused on fishing products, and already in 1902 began their expansion to other European countries. The D.A.M. brand quickly became synonymous with innovation – it was responsible for the first synthetic fiber fishing line and the first spinning reel with two winding speeds.

In 1991, the company released the groundbreaking Quick series of carp reels. This iconic product line is still known around the world today, as are other D.A.M. series, including Effzett, Tectan, and Damyl. The German manufacturer offers an extremely wide range. Just look at the catalogue – what is not there! Reels, rods, cables, professional clothing, fishing accessories (from rigs and hooks, through landing nets, to umbrellas) and various lures (hooves, twisters, rippers, shuttles, spinners) are just a fraction of the available offer. In the 80s. and 90. imported German equipment has opened up completely new possibilities for Polish anglers – in the country on the Vistula River, the D.A.M. brand, not only because of its sentiment, still enjoys well-deserved recognition.
