Shimano Lesath Sea Trout Technical Game is the highest model in the Shimano rod group, dedicated to fishing for sea trout and salmon both in rivers and in the sea. We know how difficult and demanding it is to catch these species. It requires dedication and perseverance, often in very adverse weather or terrain conditions. When designing the Lesath Sea Trout rod, we had a clear goal – to use our best blank technologies to offer anglers an unparalleled rod in terms of work, power and accuracy.

The incredible performance of the Lesath Sea Trout Technical Game rod is generated by the combination of advanced Shimano carbon technologies. Spiral X Core technology is based on a spiral carbon braid, made of Infinity Tape carbon tape, used both from the inside and from the outside of the blank. In combination with the reinforced structure of the Nanopitch blank, it allows us to create stronger, more accurate, and at the same time lighter rods, characterized by better sensitivity. Hi-Power X, in turn, is an external, cross carbon braid of the blank, responsible for the power of the rod and its ability to react to large overloads. In a word – the blank can bear more weight, while maintaining proper stiffness in the lower section. What is very important, the stiffening carbon braid does not affect the speed of the rod, so we were able to offer the best action for sea trout fishing in the Lesath Sea Trout Technical Game model, allowing you to keep the jumping fish on the stick even over a long distance.

Because the blank using carbon braid is lighter than standard blanks (it uses a smaller number of graphite mats), we decided to arm it with equally light components. Stainless, anti-tangle, strong and lightweight Fuji Titanium SiC K-Type guides make the rod great for handling strong fish, and at the same time is very friendly during all-day sessions on the water. Equally lightweight, yet incredibly rigid reel seat made of Ci4+ carbon securely holds the reel, while providing a better towing experience. Its rigid housing better transmits drags to the hand, thanks to which we are able to feel the smallest anomalies in the work of the lure.

Thanks to our patented Carbon Monocoque handle, made in resonance technology from lightweight Ci4+ carbon, it allows you to feel the most delicate contacts from carefully foraging sea trout. It can be said that this rod combines what is practical with what is beautiful, meeting all the criteria created by anglers fishing for this cunning species of fish.
