Aleppo soap is a natural soap, the ancestor of bar soap. Used since ancient times for both body care and washing. It combines the beneficial effect of oil from olives and laurel. It is a valued, natural detergent .

Method of use

Recommended for all types of washing , can be used both in the washing machine and manually .

The recommended dosage can be found on the packaging.

To remove persistent stains first wipe the laundry with Aleppo Najel stain remover soap, leave for 10 minutes, then wash the laundry in the washing machine as always.

How to wash more ecologically

- Sort your laundry by degree of dirt to better dispense detergent.

- Do not pour more liquid than recommended - carefully read the dosing information on the package.

- Check the degree of water hardness.

- Use less detergent when laundry is only lightly soiled.

- Avoid pre-washing.

- Use detergents that are effective at low temperature, because washing at 40°C uses up to 3 times less energy than a cycle at 90°C.

Replace the softener with an economical and ecological product. Add a small glass of white vinegar to the laundry. Vinegar makes, softens fabrics, without leaving a characteristic smell on them. It also helps in the fight against sediment in the washing machine. If you want your laundry to smell, you can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil.

5-15%: soap, < 5%: anionic surfactant, non-ionic surfactant, potassium sorbate, fragrance, hexylocinnamal, linalool.

Contains: linalool, hexylocinnamal, hexyl salicylate. It can cause an allergic reaction.

History of detergents

Before the appearance at the end of the nineteenth century, the first soap-based cleaning agents were made from wood ash.

Research on detergents was accelerated at that time due to the shortage of animal and vegetable fats and the need for armies to clean their uniforms in cold, hard water.

The first liquid detergent appeared in 1982. It was characterized by better solubility than detergent powder, especially at low temperatures, thanks to which it began to work from the beginning of the washing cycle.

But since the 30s. The soap used so far for washing has been replaced by surfactants. Unfortunately, not always without harm to the environment and consumer health. Conventional detergents often contain petrochemical ingredients that have great sensitizing potential. In addition, some of the softeners cause undesirable effects in aquatic environments: oxygen thins in water, which causes the disappearance of fish, crustaceans, insects and plants.
